Bouteille de 500 ml achetée à la SAQ Centropolis (Laval, QC). Arôme: Légère odeur de pamplemousse. Apparence: La couleur est ambrée avec une faible densitée de bulle. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de pamplemousse avec une pointe d’houblons résineux. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement onctueuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence d’agrumes en arrière goût. (Rating #4655)

Couleur ambrée, dorée. Nez de houblon persistant, de sucre, d’agrumes et de citron. En bouche, c’est très houblonné, l’amertume est prononcée. Belle acidité qui rappelle les pamplemousses. Bonne bière!

A pleasant tasting dark malt with some light hop bitterness. Lacks anything special to score it higher and the name Cascade Speciale left me expecting a bit more bitterness. However, very well balanced and easy drinking beer.

Bottle: Poured a deep amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of light citrus notes with some earthy notes is quite refreshing. Taste is a good mix between some solid citrus and earthy hops notes and some lightly sweet caramel malt notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Well brewed and easy drinking APA with good refreshing factor.

Brown bottle, 5o0 ml, purchased at SAQ, savoured on January 3 2013; eye: caramel with an orangey hue, slightly hazy, no effervescence, beige head that turns into a tiny ring, slight lacing; nose: resinous hops, malt, orange, grapefruit; mouth: resinous hops, malt, orange, grapefruit, light astringency, thin finale in resinous hops with presence of orange, medium body, below-average carbonation, mildly bitter, lightly sweet, thin; overall: ordinary FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 500 ml, achetée à la SAQ, savourée le 3janvier 2013; œil : caramel avec une teinte orangée, très légèrement voilée, pas d’effervescence, mousse beige qui se transforme en un petit anneau, très légère dentelle; nez : houblon résineux, malt, orange, pamplemousse; bouche : houblon résineux, malt, orange, pamplemousse, légère astringence, finale mince en houblon résineux avec présence d’orange, corps moyen, carbonatation sous la moyenne, moyennement amère, légèrement sucrée, mince; en résumé : ordinaire

Bottle from SAQ. Hazy amber beer with a thick off white head with good retention. Aroma is herbal and citrusy hops, vegetables, celery, pale and toasted malt. Flavor is pale malt, some nuts, butter cookies, floral and citrusy hops and a moderately bitter aftertaste. Medium body. Not the best from this brewery.

Smells like grapefruit. Nice cascade aroma. Pours orange with foam and average lacing. A little bitter and some astringency. Palate is medium, medium carbonation. A little sweetness and caramelized malt. Bottle.

pours relatively clear amber-reddish with a decent off-white head, some retention. toasted malts, fairly malted, dry herbal and caramel malts, citrus and floral cascade, some sweetness. light hopping for a relatively short citrusy finish. average to soft carbonation, medium body - oily.

bottle shared with Seb from Saq A: citrusy, caramel, toffee App: dark copper minimal white head.T/p: Med body with long bitter finish rather soft carbonation. O: OK nothing spectacular tough.

Bouteille 500 ml. 5.8%. Couleur ambrée un peu opaque. Arôme de malt et un peu d’herbes. En bouche, malt, carmael, houbon mais moins que la Cascade. J’aime bien la Cascade...version juste moins bonne.
