[4141-20111124] 341mL bottle. Charred smoky roast malt aroma. Black brown body with a quick creamy light tan head. Quite charred roasted bread grain flavour has a light fish scale note. Full body. Odd roasty notes, smokiness brings out interesting malt characteristics. (7/3/6/3/13) 3.2

Bottle [341ml] shared with HogTownHarry, jerc & mabel -- c/o j&m. Nov. 2011. Pours a very dark brown, quite bubbly, with a small frothy diminishing beige head. Nice aroma, super smoky along with sweet roasted malt, bbq’ed meat, burnt wood and a hint of coffee. Flavour of roasted malt, lots of smoke (though less then in the aroma), some chocolate and a touch of coffee. The alcohol is well hidden. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Great stuff, I loved it.
