Clean. Yellow with fair head. Strong yeast characteristic with lemon and pepper. Sounds like i should have one with fish.

PINT tasting. Bottle had spilled during flight to Europe, possibly explaining the small foam. Opaque light orange, sour apple in aroma. Barley in taste, light sour, crisp. Little sparkling still. (Arnhem 201506)

Bottle at Paul’s for Andy and Max’s Fantasy Football winnings tasting. Pours a faintly hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Musk on the nose, citrus and warm yeast. Medium bodied, warm musk, spicy yeast. Lingering yeast into the finish.

Bottle at the FF tasting. Poured a thinner body with lots of floating sediment and a fizzy bright white head. Aroma is funky, lemons, pepper, spicy, rustic grains. Body is medium with tight fizzy carbonation and an average duration on the arftertaste. Flavor of white pepper, flower petals, lemons, grains and yeast. Nice stuff.

Location: Bottle shared at Max and Andy’s Tasting, 2/28/15

Aroma: This one has an aroma of yeast/spice, with floral and fruity notes
Appearance: This one pours a golden color with a lasting white head
Flavor: The flavor is pretty similar to the nose, with spice/yeast, and a little sweetness
Palate: This one has a pretty soft carbonation, with a smooth mouthfeel
Overall Impression: This is not an amazing example of the style, but a pretty solid beer none-the-less.

Bottle. Golden pour with white head. Light spice, herbal and citrus hop aromas. Light grassy and herbal flavors, hints of citrus tones.

On tap @ Saint Houblon. Cloudy golden pour with a dense, fluffy, white head. Nice spice and banana aromas. Some citrus zest, soap, and fresh flowers. A little bit of lime, too. The flavor is kind of soapy, which ruins an otherwise nice beer. Good citrus and floral notes. Plenty of banana bread, grass, and some mild spices.

750ml bottle, hazy blonde hue, with a pillowy white head, with a spicy fruity, doughy yeasty nose, with some apple strudel dough, apple sauce, pear, pineapple esters, and a pale, wheat, pilsener malt, lemon peel, spritzy floral citrus, lesfy hop accent in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a good fruity, doughy, yeasty, spicy, bread dough, faint fruit salad, apple sauce, faint acidic green apple, apple pie, pear character, and a faint flowery fruity, leafy, citrus hoppy, lemon pie crust flavour, leading towards a fruity, spicy, doughy yeastiness, mild pear, acidic apple fruitiness finish.

Metalchopz (2605) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 10, 2014
Pours a clean light golden colour with a frothy white head, creating a little mountain top and some soapy lace. Aromas of citrus, grass, apples, spices and yeast. The taste is citrusy as well, but there seems to be something that is not as well-balanced. Not sure if it is the grassy hops, or the yeast. Refreshing, but because of this flavour, would not have again. Much better saison out there.
