3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at the FF tasting. Poured a thinner body with lots of floating sediment and a fizzy bright white head. Aroma is funky, lemons, pepper, spicy, rustic grains. Body is medium with tight fizzy carbonation and an average duration on the arftertaste. Flavor of white pepper, flower petals, lemons, grains and yeast. Nice stuff.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Location: Bottle shared at Max and Andy’s Tasting, 2/28/15
Aroma: This one has an aroma of yeast/spice, with floral and fruity notes
Appearance: This one pours a golden color with a lasting white head
Flavor: The flavor is pretty similar to the nose, with spice/yeast, and a little sweetness
Palate: This one has a pretty soft carbonation, with a smooth mouthfeel
This is not an amazing example of the style, but a pretty solid beer none-the-less.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ Saint Houblon. Cloudy golden pour with a dense, fluffy, white head. Nice spice and banana aromas. Some citrus zest, soap, and fresh flowers. A little bit of lime, too. The flavor is kind of soapy, which ruins an otherwise nice beer. Good citrus and floral notes. Plenty of banana bread, grass, and some mild spices.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clean light golden colour with a frothy white head, creating a little mountain top and some soapy lace. Aromas of citrus, grass, apples, spices and yeast. The taste is citrusy as well, but there seems to be something that is not as well-balanced. Not sure if it is the grassy hops, or the yeast. Refreshing, but because of this flavour, would not have again. Much better saison out there.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle from les arpents verts A: orange peel, coriander, camomile app: clear pale white head t/p: thin to med body with lightly acidic finish. Moderate to high carbonation. O: good. I’ve heard good words about this saison and can confirm it’s quality. Doesn’t have the farmhouse attributes sometimes associated with the style but the spiciness plus body make it a true thirst quencher. I’m a big fan of witbier and saison. This beer an hybrid of both style won my favor.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Peluso, shared with my wife. Aroma: bread, floral, banana. App: clear pale, sparkling with average head. Taste and palate: light sweetness, medium body, really light dry sour finish. Lively carbonation. Overall: A good Saison, easy to drink. Carbonation is a tad too much though
