kmeves (990), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA May 11, 2008 Pours a thin copper orange with a large head of frothy smallish bubbles. Arome a mild sweet and malty. The flavor was a bit metallic and astringent, I believe some caramel was trying to break through. Thin mouthfeel, somewhat flawed texture.
kimcgolf (656), Dacula, Georgia, USA Jul 13, 2008 Had on tap at the New York-New York. Nothing much to this beer. Reminded me of a macro amber....reddish orange color, thin off white head and medium bodied. Little aroma or actual taste, and the finish was okay. Nothing wrong with this beer, just nothing that stood out either.
Ho-hum. douglas88 (676), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Mar 18, 2008 On tap at New York Casino. Wait, they gave me this in a plastic cup. What the hell. Why don’t they just pours it into my mouth. Anyway, with the cup and a terrible pour it is a light amber with no head. The aroma and taste are similar; light caramel malts and some hops. brianprentiss (385), Mountain View, California, USA Feb 28, 2008 2.5 is about right for this beer. It’s a carbon copy of Gordon Biersch Marzen, which is a very mediocre beer. la1965 (22), Los Angeles, California, USA Dec 14, 2007 According to tender this amber is an oktoberfest lager. Great use of malts slighlty sweet which added to balance. Crystal clear, copper with long lasting thick white head. served in plastic glasse3s in the mall below planet hollywood which used to be the alladin
