On tap at one of the locations in Vegas. Unsure where I was, but the brewer was there pouring taps. The beer pours to a deeply hazy orange body with a creamy white head. The aroma was typical hefe with lots of cloves, lemons, oranges, and wheat. The flavor was a little sweet. Again, that typical set of hefe characteristics. This one was almost like New Glarus’ Cracked Wheat, with it’s hop forward hops, but simply not as good.

Tap at The Grand Canal Shoppes, The Venetian, Las Vegas. Dusty apricot, narrow white halo, nil lace. spicy Bavarian nose ticking the clove and banana boxes. Spiced biscuit, authentic banana esters, candy cigarettes and peppery clove. Fizzy and thin, but the flavours are there. Good shopping beer.

Draft at Sin City. Pours a cloudy yellow with a big white head. Aroma is sweet citrus and wheat. Taste is a nice warm mouthfeel of citrus, wheaty and malt. Very nice beer to stroll along the strip sipping.

Draft at Sin City’s tap. With a gigantic head, this took a while to pour. It was worth the wait. Creamy and fruity, this had a rich body, yet remained light enough to quench my thirst. (#3885, 4/16/2010)

Draft at Sin City in Vegas, this is the one I went back and ordered a full pint of. Dark gold, nice head. Aroma is a shot of clove, wheat, and banana. Flavor is very heavy on banana esters, with the yeast notes really shining through in a way that a lot of American breweries just don’t get right. Wheat flavor was there, but not too pronounced, would have liked a bit more. But all in all, a satisfying beer. Nice memory of running into our friend Rick the next day and finding him drinking this one as well. A nice Vegas morning beer.

(draft @ Sin City Brewing Company - Las Vegas, NV) Cloudy orange with nearly no head and very mild carbonation. Grainy and dry aroma with very light hints of clove and spice. Smooth and sweet with a clove and light banana flavor. Pretty good representation.

On tap at Sin City in the Flamingo. Pours a hazy gold with a medium white head. Wheat, fruit, lemon, and coriander on the nose. Flavor is bananas, and a light plastic off-note. More bananas and plastic on the finish.

Had this on tap at the Miracle Mile location a couple of years ago after a Hawaii vacation and stopping in Las Vegas. So full of banana flavor it almost tastes false and/or added... wasn’t a big fan of most of their stuff, but a cool place to visit.
