3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled (from Alko Prisma, Vaasa). Black colour, small brown head, which leaves a bunch of lace. Aroma is wood, some slight smoked wet wood, mild spices, some wood as well as some toffee. Flavour is roasted malts, quite spicy along with some toffee and ripe fruits. Mild wood and syrup as well. Quite much like Koff Porter with spruce and some syrupy notes. Quite thick feeling.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, at RBNG-14 Grand Tasting. An unclear, brown beer topped by a smell, dense, light beige head. It’s pretty meaty on the nose, with roasted malts, molasses and some coffee. Roasted, semi-dry on the palate, with chocolate notes and coffee. Molasses. Full body and a pleasant carbonation. Lasting roasted finish with some bonfire. Pretty pleasant this one. 140215
