2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
330ml bottle (Alko Arkadia, Helsinki)
5- SImple sweet malty aroma, quite full and grainy and milky for a lager, but lacking any crispness.
2 Pale, scummy head
5- Simple papery taste. Dry papery bitterness, and sweet bland malts. Underimpressed.
2 Sweet, but otherwise thin body, OK carbonation. Finish much like any dull scandic lager.
8 Too much charity in the prior numbers, deep down this is just a dull finnish lager.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2011 A dark golden beer with not much head. Hoppy aroma. Has a bit more body than the Extra Brew III. You can also feel the presence of alcohol a bit more easily. You can also taste the saaz in this one. Especially in the aftertaste. It makes this beer a lot better than what it would be without it. Last but not least, the aftertaste is a bit like some grain alcohols have. It brings down rating a bit.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle from Alko. Golden beer and white head. Dull aroma is corny malty with some notes of hops. This is basically ordinary Koff IV with some harsh hoppiness and more grainy malty body.

Ingen identitet. Tilløp til syrlig bitterhet i ettersmaken.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Many thanks to Finn for giving me a 330ml bottle of this one. Cold hazed to a golden body. Frothy white head leaving spotty glass lacing behind. Modest smell of sweet pale malts. Hints of caramel malts in flavour, some grain and bitter fruits. Low malt-bitter ending. Accepted (Tromsø, 11.08.2010).

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled (from Alko, Vaasa). Goldeny amber colour with mediumsized foamy/fluffy head. Aroma is mild fruityness, sweet malts, some caramel, earth and herbs. Flavour is mild fruity notes along with some toffee and sweet malts. Mild herbal notes as well. Surprisingly bodied and actually rather tasty macrolager.
