Sinebrychoff Porter is a dark unfiltered beer manufactured by using top fermentation. Munich malts and plenty of hops impart a strong flavour to the beer.

Pitch black with brownish head. Aroma is superb. Roasted malts and sweet alcohol notes. Body is perfect, roasted malts and quite bitter although very drinkable. One of my favourite porters so far.

$9.50 for the 12 oz. spurt distributed in a tumbler at the Grog last Saturday evening. For some peculiar reason or another, I noted numerous herbal indications resembling marsh rosemary, spruce tips, and thyme, remembered whilst filling my body alongside semi-dark chocolate, raspberry jam, common figs, and toffee. Respectable, but I didn’t find it all that exciting. Perhaps I’ll have to rerate it and see if anything changes in my view.

Tap into half pint. Black, thin espresso foam color head. Nose mostly of Vettel and dark malt.In the mouth immediate sour note, like a Flemish sour. Hops mid way, and finishes with a more traditional dry roast. Not a typical porter by any means but really interesting and multilayered.

Lite aska och småsträv mot slutet annars riktigt fin porter. Doftar alejäst, lite estrar och fenoler. Prisvärd porter. Flaska från bolaget

On tap at bittercreek, black pour with minimal head. Fruity, sour but almost sweet overtones. Dry. Salty aftertaste. Thin body, medium carbonation. Weird tasting beer.

Bottle from Systembolaget. This is kinda funny. I have tried this beer several times, and I am pretty sure I have rated it once or even twice. But here we go again... Pitch black beer with a nice brownish head. Malty roasted aroma, fruity, raisins, cocoa, licorice notes. tar, coffee notes. Malty caramel flavor, vinous, raisins, figs, chocolate, grapes, cocoa, Cream notes, some licorice. Malty raisin finish with chocolate, caramel and some figs. Nice sweetish stout.
