2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can as Saxon 4.1. Pours very pale with thin, creamy head. Dry and dusty aroma, with a somewhat sour and spicy wheat note, reminiscent of something belgian. Some sweetish esters and some DMS. Very dry and astringent flavor with some sweet maltiness and metallic dryness in the finish, like if they where using artificial sweeteners. Weird. Both good and bad at the same time.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2009 Can 0,5l. Pale golden colored. Aroma of paper. Flat unvaried flavor of malt. Uninteresting. Also had this one labeled Saxon - can 0,5l - bought at Systembolaget in Sweden 03.2009.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Can shared at a summer rating party in Tromsø. Clear, light amber. Snow-white head. Little more than smell of hard water. Some sweet hoppy notes in flavour and a hint of bitter sweetness in the finish. Light bodied (14.06.2008).

Can. Pale golden body. Has a white small head. Aroma and flavor is just boring. Only has some citrus and hops. A hint of metal bitternes. Thin and watery.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can as ’Saxon’. Fully diminishing big-bubbled white head. Clear pilsener-golden color. Not very aromatic; sweetish grains and unfresh hops to the nose. Taste is sugary malts without any bittering hops to balance. Watery texture. Anorectic and carbonatied body. Dry end. Forgettable.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Smells of very little. Looks like nothing. Tastes of nothing. Where’s the beer? At least it’s not actually nasty. Oh - watery, did you really need me to say that explicitly?

1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Smells like yeast. Very pale in color, insanely thick head, one could eat it with a fork. Flavor doesn’t have anything. Not even the bitterness of some hops in the finish. Why brew stuff like this?

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Pale golden with a brief, unclean, white head.
Sour in both aroma and flavour; maize and straw.
Thin, sour and utterly boring.
