COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nikolai beer’s high original gravity makes it extremely full-bodied. Besides satisfying the most acute thirst for beer, it also goes well with meals. Note: marketed nowadays as "Panimomestarin Nikolai Vaalea Lager". ABV 4.5%->4.7%

Can 50 cl, K-market Jyväskylä. Pours clear golden amber with a big fluffy off white head leaving lacing. Aroma is weak malty, sweet, hoppy and grassy. Flavor is malty, acidy, sweet, fruity and bitter. Finishes sweet, bitter and malty.

Can, Loimaa. Pours clear copper with a huhge fizzy white head leaving some lacing. Aroma is malty, sweet, hoppy and caramel. Flavor is metallic, sweetish, malty and some caramelnotes. Finishes short sweet and bitterish.

Golden colour with a white head. Straightforward malty on the nose. Sweet caramel notes on the flavour, other than that very basic malty flavour. Medium bodied, watery mouthfeel. Basic Pale Lager.
