1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 SilkTork (4691) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - JUL 29, 2003
Bottle. 4.8% Bitter finish makes itself felt, but is dull - neither good nor bad, just kinda there in a thick kid, let me hang around with you, way. The malt body is the same. You know you've drunk this, but you wonder why.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 fiulijn (10000) - Como, ITALY - JUL 16, 2003
4.8% ABV Blond color, artificial foam, big bubbles. Sweet, cheap, malt aroma; shandy. Lightly sweet body, not interesting, with a point of malt. Poor final. Very simple.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 jstu9 (402) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 7, 2003
(bottle) Based on the picture over there, this is what I had. It had the typical pilsner aroma and appearance. Nothing exceptional though I rate it higher than the typical macros and such since it seemed to be a decent light drinking lager.
2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 ferox (84) - Newcastle, ENGLAND - JUN 22, 2003
Almost identical appearance as the stronger version. Pours a bigger head. Palate is not as marked, quite unremarkable.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 MartinT (6146) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 8, 2003
Playful citrus and mint amongst the cereal...All light of course, yet there is a semblance of work...The total absence of head retention, coupled with the limpid yellow robe, make up an ugly looking glass of urine...A Thai Kolsch?...Nah, that would be trying too much...
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Slick (1971) - Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA - MAY 17, 2003
Big fluffy white head that faded fast.Hoppy sweet aroma.Golden in color.Better then i thought, malty well hopped with a slightly bitter hop after taste that hangs on you for a short time.It isn't a great brew but it's better then some of the Indian brews i've had.
0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Caton (160) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 16, 2003
Zero head, fizzy and yello, similiar to other Thai beer, perhaps a bit better (but not much), below average.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 brewboy (152) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 5, 2003
A fancy packaged version of the popular Singha beer that is widely known. Can't say this is deserving of the extra wrapper around the neck. Tastes less inviting than it's cousin and suggests tinkering with the formula to make a slightly less ABV beer was plain silly. Forget this and stick with Singha
