very pale straw, thick fluffly white head. Faint aroma, but what’s there at least reminds me of hops, and there are no off aromas. So there’s at least that. This bottle said it expired about a year and a half ago. It gets bonus points for not being a skunky mess. It’s very very clean, some pale malt, bit of hops for balance, but in the end is as it sets out. Smooth, cool and refreshing. I can respect this pale lager.

Bottled at GrOve’s. Very pale beer. Little aroma detectable. Short body, rice, vegetables. Canned maize. Watery.

A prime example of a quality Asian beer. The aroma is fresh and the taste starts off nicely. Bitters as it warms.

630 ml bottle. Pale golden colour. Crystal clear. Tall coarse white head. Floral and spicy hop aroma not unlike Saaz hops. Soft carbonation. Light-bodied. Feels a little watery. Light on the malts. Clean flavours with a texture that feels a little powdery and dry. Drinkable, but it is a little thin.

From 12oz bottle. Had at a Thai restaurant so it pretty well complimented the food. This beer is not as good as the regular Singha, and is just a typical pale lager. Slight mild malts and faint grassy tones.

Moustly white foam pour, brighter yellow color, pearl like bubbles. Good hop, skunk aroma that’s mild enough and pleasant. Mild watery malt flavor with a rush of sweet sugar on the back of the buds. Slight bitterness in the flavor.

12 oz single from Country Club Liquors; Nose is grainy and lagerish with a hay note; gold with a very small white head; flavor is sweet and grainy with an extremely small grassy note.

Bottled, 330ml from Thai Supermarket, Banbury. Pale straw with fizzed white head. Initially I got a lemony grassy hop note and thought not bad, but that was it, the flavour never came back, just a grainy, boiled rice flavour. Very poor, but for 75p whose the loser?
