2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a reasonable white head. Aroma is fairly weak, mainly of a bit of nondescript sweet malt. Flavor is similar. Basically tastes like most other Asian lagers; on par with the Japanese macrobrews, but maybe slightly better than most.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle 66cl. Poured a dark amber, with a decent white head that actually lasts until the end (unlike most Asian beers). The aroma is fairly rich, malty and hoppy, with a definite hint of caramel. The flavour is similar, not watery though not particularly flavoursome - golden hops with a touch of malt. The aftertaste is similar, with a metallic tang I presume from the alcohol.
Good, probably the best Thai beer Iíve had.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Probably not worth the money. Purs nicely into my official Singha glass, who knows where that came from. I canít comment on the quality of the "100% barley malt," but it has more heft than BMC and certainly more balance. Nice crisp hoppy finish reminds me of a Helles. Very refreshing, and the 6% is dangerous. Iím usually about frou deep before I realize it.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Iíve had gallons of this stuff, since anything else is hard to get in most of Thailand.
Itís brightly carbonated, smells good and has a decent flavor and aroma. Much better on draft, but a cold bottle of Bia Sing goes cools off those hot Thai afternoons in the rainy season.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle at Benjarong restaurant, Monroe WA. Pale golden. Standard lager aroma but surprisingly not one-dimensional flavour. Even manages a noticeable hop finish. First Oriental beer Iíve had that was actually worth a damn. Itís also worth noting that I did have some reasonably spicy Thai food to drink this with.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JUL 29, 2006 Clear golden-yellow with a small white head. Grainy, sweet aroma. Crisp flavor with some bitterness. Medium-bodied with a somewhat bitter finish. Though this isnít a really awesome beer, I actually really like it.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
An average beer from far away. It goes good with thai food, but doesnt have that fine subtle mix of flavors that many micros have. All in all, a good beer to go with some hot spicy thai food.
