2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: MAY 9, 2008 Bottled. (6% ABV) Golden beer with nice carbonation and a small white head. Malt-dominated aroma with some hops in the background. It has a clean flavor, floral, malty and slightly hoppy. Some alcohol to follow a bitter finish. A quite decent lagerbeer. Rating: 5-4-5-2-11-2.7 (060507)
Can. (5% ABV) It pours a quite pale golden body with a good carbonation and a big, rapidly diminishing white head. Fruity and grainy on the nose, with a unpleasant touch of something reminiscent of wet cardboard. The flavor is grainy, sweet and fruity, lacking bitterness, but feeling quenching nonetheless. Rather thin body, leaving a oily feeling in the roof of my mouth. Fruity, papery, grainy and slightly metallic finish. Maybe there was something wrong with the contents of my can, or maybe I just liked it better the last time I had it. Don’t know, but this time I think I was being kind, awarding it with a 2.1 score. brith gold, head don’t lasts long on the beer ,but many little bubbles while drinking(slightly fizzy)

tasts bitter-hoppy,but also something slithly fruited, sweet is there.not very complex aromes, but refrehing, good for accompagnating spicy asian food.(notes token on a asian restaurant on sunday,23 april)

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle at Vanipha Lanna. I’m having Thai food so I may as well have a Thai beer with it and this is the only one they have. Pours a clear sparkling gold with a large lasting foamy white head. Mild aroma of sweet grain, malt and very light hops -- there’s nothing foul or offensive about it but it’s quite bland. The flavour’s better then expected: a clean malt and hop flavour with some fruit and grain -- a little watery but not too bad. Not something I’d go out of my way to get but it went well with the food and was pleasant enough.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle. Not an exceptional beer but not a drain-pour. You get exactly what you should expect from a lager from this region: slightly tropical banana, apple and pear notes on the nose, very easy going texture and soft malts on the palate with a quick refreshing, though subdued, hop finish. An ok Thai beer.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Purchased at Stanlee’s in Tumon, Guam. Pours very pale, clear yellow, with almost no head. Aroma is typical lager. A little cat piss, a few hops and malt. Flavor was kinda skunky, and even though I just pulled the bottle from a container of ice, it seemed warm. I can’t see drinking another one of these.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Pours very pale yellow with thick head. Aroma smells a little skunky and like it’s been poured from a can that has sat in the sun too long. Taste is a little sweet and bolder than the appearance would lead one to believe. Sour/bitter on the back end. Not very good.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From the bottle at Mai Tai in Alexandria, VA. Poured a light straw colored gold, small head with a fair amount of carbonation. Tasted like about a million other pale lagers -- which to me is a good thing. I wasn’t noticing any overly bitter hops, like some of the reviewers did. This is what I could call a comfort beer -- when you’re in the mood to drink beer and not think about it -- but still look different from all your friends.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Very pale golden color with a thick white head. Aroma of corn, malt and hops. Flavor moves quickly from sweet malt to the bittering hops. For what it is, not bad. Accompanies Thai food very well.
