3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
I've had good ones and I've had bad ones. The best was in a Thai resturant in Hawaii. Nice lager taste and hops that can compete with the big boys in Europe. A bit between German and Dutch lagers. The worst were a skunky mess. If you can get this fresh, it is a great lager.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Smelled extremely skunky when I cracked it open. but then smelled just of malt. Color is a very weak golden. Flavor is slim, but had a decent bite to it.

Had this with a Thai meal. Strange palate, somewhat 'papery'. Fair sized head, good lacing. Nice light golden appearance.

The aroma is malty sweet with notes of brewmash. The beer is yellow with a big bubbly head. The flavor is simple but with an OK malt sweetness. The palate is very filling for a pilsener - probably because of the 6% ABV.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Yuck is my first impression of this brew. It poured a medium white head of mostly fine bubbles. The body is yellow and there was carbonation observed. There was next to no lacing on the sides of my glass. The only description that I can give for the aroma is "yucky".

1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
This brew pours a medium head of fine to medium sized bubbles and a carbonated weak pee yellow body. Its aroma is very strong and replusive. It barely tastes better than it looks. Its flavor is fizzy skunky thin and slightly hopped. Definately a brew to finish and go on to the next one.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Nose is of rice with a faint hop bitterness. Appearance is not promising, pale gold with a fizziness, but still can't hold a decent head. Palate is on the rough side, also plagued by fizziness. Flavor is of rice, definitely not pure malt going on here. But there is a pleasant hoppiness and bitterness on the finish that one doesn't find in most macroswills. And it really does match up well with Thai food, just enough sweetness in the malt to offset the spiciness of Thai.

Heavy cereal guide the tongue to a quite pronounced bitter aftertaste...Diseased citrus trees sit on a porous malt ground...Easy going, not very complex, but not tasteless...

Best choice while in Thailand, no doubt - nice "international class" lager that even Czech, German, Belgian or Irish drinker used to good beer can switch to on his trip to Thailand without fear of spoiling the experience with "beer-sickness". Looks and tastes good and has no ill sideeffects even after consuming several bottles (which is generally a good test for recognizing real beer from "piss in beer disguise" - no names mentioned so producers/drinkers of such stuff don't get offended ;o))

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pronounced 'sing', so if I have to sing for my supper I suppose that it can't be that bad. On the beach in Hua Hin, with some satay and todmun pla this is a good beer, especially at $1.50 for a big one. At least its a good malty lager with a prominent hop presence of Saaz or Hersbrucker (?). It does not travel well though.
