1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Medium size short lasting creamy-white head over a pale gold yellow clear colour. Faint hops, lightly rancid corn syrup and something approaching a 3 day unwashed body yeast aroma. Some alcohol comes through as it warms. Light body with softish raw or stale hop bitter flavoured start. Milder sweetish corn flavoured middle and Aftertaste is doubly stale bitter. Probably complements Thai cuisine because Thai food is usually quite spicey. Still, I have had a lot worse.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
thick eggshell head, piss yellow color. Pretty good for a lager from SE asia for sure. The aroma had me scared, but the smooth, sweet, unoffensive finish turned it around.

Sampled from a grenade type bottle. Contains a brew that has a hoppy kick like a thai boxer. An abundance of those hops smack you in the nose on first whiff, although doesn’t translate into the first taste. It misses that twang but it would be an acceptable compliment to thai or spicy food. From other ratebeer members notes, I’d suggest it doesn’t travel well, and is best tasted soon aftwer brewing.

Also a very nasty beer. Old pilsener tasting. Dry and sour/sweet in that bad way. Thin texture fizzy and nasty.

Bottle. I was pleasantly surprised. This beer had more kick in the aroma and a crisp flavor that I did not expect.

Average pilsener. I wish I would of had it with Thai food it might of had a better edge to it.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Very pale gold, with decent head retention. Fairly clean aroma, sourdough, and light hops. The first sip is a letdown. Tastes a bit like soggy cornflakes, although there is a respectable hop presence (as in respectible for a Southwest Asian pils). Not great at all on its own, but I’m sure it complements Thai food.
