1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Wow! This beer glows in the dark! Very pale and yellow coloured. Very ugly. No head. Skunky, hoppy aroma.
Hoppy and a bit sweet taste, some bitterness. Watery palate. Crap.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pale, no head! grassy and somewhat displeasing aroma. Nothing fancy in terms of flavour either. It's quite plain, that seems to be the verdict for most of the asian beers that I have sampled.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Golden, small bubbly head. Some grassy hops in aroma. Dull and thin body with some hops. Very one-dimensional.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Golden head with light toast and biscuit aroma. Crisp with a bit of sulfer, feels like it has sat on a shelf for a while.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
pours pissy yellow. frothy white head. smells like pissy international lager, oddly enough tastes like it too. some hops which is a plus. terribly out of balance with the rest of the beer though.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Golden yellow and lively, with a fairly quickly disappearing head. Starchy aroma and an equally high-grain body with a stark gristy finish. Nothing to hoot over, but not nearly as bad as some imported macros.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Good sized white head, aroma is of hops. Pale yellow colour, decent amount of hops but that’s about it. Simple, but not unenjoyable. Slight bitter finish. Fairly thin body.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(wrong glass) Pale straw-gold, thick white head. Nose of pale malts, flowery hop (very German), cookies. Tastes of cookies again, toasted bread, fine hoppiness, especially retronasal. Rather light mouthfeel The aftertaste exposes the roasted malt/toast impression again, against the pale colour. MJ calls this a Bock, at 6% it is a bit heavy for a Pilsener indeed. It has become a classic, and its German character is undeniable. But would it have been brewed in Germany indeed - few people would have ever heard of it.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2005 August 23, 2003 - Rating 0.9 - Singha? more like Crapha. once again, it’s like budcoorsmiller has branched out into other countries. no wonder it says "For Export Only" on the bottle...they don’t want to expose this generic coors clone to their population. April 24, 2005 - Rating 1.9 - Had a bottle of this in a Thai restaurant in Amsterdam. As clear yellow as colors come. Smells like water. My fiancee described it as "a beer feel without the beer taste." Very clean "flavor".
