Golden colour with a small white head. Malty aroma with a hoppy touch. Malty and grainy flavor with a sharp bitter finish.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Standard, strong golden lager with a pronounced hoppiness. Yet the hop-aroma is not really that sophisticated. Thailands best known beer - and pretty OK like the rest of their range of lagers. 131103

Bottle. Pours out like another pale, stale straw colored lager...poor head retention modest lacing, sharp carbonation. nothing spectacular in the nose...some sweet grainyness, light grass tones. Sharp up front peppery ( aggressive carbonation) nice biscuit malt spine with lemony hop balance... clean sharp finish with a citrus-bready after taste. Not bad...the distinct malt backbone was a pleasant surprise and the lemon departure of the hops near the finish give you the impression this is a sharp spritzy helles. Just the thing to knock back with some spicy Tai Bar BQ.

Pours golden with decent white head. Aroma of grassiness and a bit of hops and not much malt. A little skunky also. Thin on the flavor, but hey, it is an Asian lager.

A little bit more body than the usual 3rd world lager, but then again its 6%. Relatively clean malt flavour with a trace of hops and a nasty metallic aftertatse.

I honestly dreaded this one, but itís not so bad. Reminds me of a watered down Heineken, with the hops making a noise on the back of the tongue. Thereís a weird pancake flavor somewhere in here. Hmmm...

Quenching Thai pilsener wtih slightly more muscle than its peers. Pale gold, short vanishing head. Barely-there hoppy nose. Has a bit of body for the style. Hay-like hops. Dull. (Bottle)

Pale golden color, minimal head. Aroma mostly of skunk, I donít know about the hops, some sweat as well. Doesnít taste like 100% barley malt. Has a long bitter and unpleasant finish that completely detracts from anything else you might be eating or even thinking. Ouch.

Found this little gem at the beer store near work. Pale, light yellow, almost totally clear and devoid of color, small white head that quickly dies, and tiny bits of something floating around. Aroma is bread, rubber, and maybe some band aid. Light bodied, fizzy. Taste is skunked at first, then opens up into bread, sour stale grass, peppery yeast, and stale pale malt. Itís no cerveza ole, thatís for sure.

Pours pee yellow, almost no white head. Smell is faint and it is good because it is faintly of pee, with some yeast smell to it (I think). Tastes like bread and pee, with a somewhat pleasent bitter finish that turns into a nasty bitter aftertaste. Not good.
