COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A premium lager beer brewed from the finest ingredients, Singha is a full-bodied 100% barley malt beer that is distinctively rich in taste with strong hop characters. Editor's Note: Recipe scaled down from 6% to 5% in 2007.

Golden beer. Citrus grass and mild hop aroma. Flavour is fruity and sweet. This is a good lager and works well if you are thirsty. I am enjoying this right after sauna. Body is thicker than what is typical to lagers.

Bottled. Slight grassy hop aroma with sweet, creamy malts. Pale gold color with a nice head. Rather sweet, malty flavor with some crisp hops. A bit fruity, creamy. Refreshing and suited for hot climates. Reasonably good stuff for a SE Asian macro. Ok bitterness and nice fruitiness. Would drink it again.

Appearance: straw gold with a bubbly white head that quickly shrinks. Aroma: lots of honeyed grain and some lightly peppery hops way in the back. Taste: crisp, sweet, ever so slightly of hot metal. Finish: short, slightly spicy and sweet. Notes: Overall, I preferred it to a lot of the Asian lagers I have had. I seem to get a hint of metal from most of them but this one actually had a decently smooth palate, an appropriate balance of sweet to crisp light hops, and a decent finish. Much better than its main competitor, Chang.

Big bottle from the asian grocery. Pale weak honeyish lager. Good enough to cut greasy or spicy food but pretty watery and tasteless otherwise. fairly innocent.

Boring as any other cheap watered down lager, saying that it has rich taste and strong hop character is an insult to proper beers.

Pours very pale yellow with a thin white head and no lacing. Smells of grass, lemons, and a bit medicinal. There isn’t much in the way oc flavor here, mostly like carbonated water. There is a slight grain flavor with a touch of bitter hops in the finish.

Fine with Thai food. Slightly hoppier than other lagers of it’s sort. Serving: Bottle

330 ml bottle. Rated @ 12.12.2009.
Pours a clear yellow colour with a foamy white head. Aroma of grainy malts. Flavour of malts, acetone and light citrus. Mild hoppy finish. Premium, yeah right.
