Hadn’t had this beer in some time, but I drank one last week with my dinner at the Green Papaya in Bethesda

Aroma: Light nose, lemon, stawy malts, not much there
Appearance: Light golden color,
Flavor: Sweet malts, very malt hop backing, a little herbal/floral character, not much else
Palate: Light body, decently refreshing
Overall Impression: I mean, its a weak pale lager, not a lot of character, not awful, but it’s certainly not showing off a wonderful complexity or anything like that (not that you would be expecting that when you buy one - at least I would hope not). Overall, it is a simple, easy to drink lager, so it does hit its goal in that way. Not bad with Asian food.

Bottle brown, 330 ml
Appearance: Pours very thin and pale golden, yellowish, opaque in texture, body carbonation is weak, head is initially medium quickly decreasing and almost diminishing but leaving quite nice lacing, head is foamy and greyish white in colour, rather rocky.
Aroma: Strange oriented sweetnes, mixed with nice scents of leavy hoppy touch, crispness, no adjuncts, no skunk, 100% malted barley but nothing extraordinary. Citrusy oriented, note of lemon, rather weak aroma in general.
Flavour: Nice herbal notes of hops, generally sweet malty - crispy background with notes of crystalized honey, what is more a very characteristic sourness in texture working together for the dry effect and making up for some lacks in hops to get a true Pilsener style. More and more alcoholic towards the end. Accidic and slightly metalic with a characteristic note of lemon. Finish duration is rather short with bready notes.
Palate: Body is light, texture is watery, carbonation on palate is rather weak, finish feel is salty, sweet, kind of dull, moderately alcoholic but not strong in negative features.
