So I go to a BBQ at a friends house who loves the pale lagers. I brought some good stuff, but he had several he wanted me to try from his days living in Southeaseast Asia. After having a couple others, and really not liking them, he brings this out. I smell it and think, "not bad". I taste it and think, "really not bad!" In the mid 80’s weather in SoCal, and after a few pretty bad beers. This was decent and dangerously drinkable. Smooth, malty, and clean. I admit I would drink this at any BBQ in hot weather.

Even in a Thai restaurant, this beer isnt too good. Very watery and just no "punch"

I loved this stuff in Thailand. Maybe its a beer you need to drink sat sweating in a Thai bar with some Thai food watching the world go by. Not in freezing Canada.

This, uh, wasn’t really a beer. It was possibly the palest "beer" I’ve ever drank. It had no head, almost no aroma, and was only a little more flavorful than water. Nothing really bad, I guess, but definitely a head scratcher. Like, how did they brew a beer that just barely exists? Did they do this intentionally? I bet they did, how sad.

Pale, bright yellow, good thick white head. Aroma is like swwet rice and barley, despite commercial description saying it’s 100% barley malt. There’s a little bit of wax in the aroma too. Flavor is a good balance between malt and hops, a little good skunky, a little bitter, and slightly metallic. Consistency is medium-light. Definitely an upgrade over a lot of other asian beers. Finish is light, malty, bland, and a tiny bit of bitterness.

Pours golden yellow with a slight fizzy head. Sweet aroma on the first sniff with notes of corn and macro-brewing. IIt’s a relatively inoffensive option when your other options are coors light and Canadian...

Pours golden yellow. The head is perfunctory and doesn’t last long (just like sex after marriage). But with its 6% alcohol (at least before they tampered with the recipe) and its bracing finish of bitter hops, Singha has a bit more character than its undistinguished appearance lets on. I used to be much more impressed by this beer when I was younger. I think that was because I always drank it in Thai restaurants along with Thai food, which as other reviewers have noted is a perfect match for the beer.
