A premium lager beer brewed from the finest ingredients, Singha is a full-bodied 100% barley malt beer that is distinctively rich in taste with strong hop characters. Brewed with three hops: Saaz, Perle and Hallertau. Editor’s Note: Recipe scaled down from 6% to 5% in 2007.

33 cl bottle @ home. Pours clear yellow with a white head that leaves very little lacing. Aroma and flavour are grains and malt - with a slightly dry finish.

Strong malt aroma from bottle. Pours yellow with thin disappearing head. Sweet malt taste followed by chemical sweetness then a suggestion of hops. More flavour than your usual Asian lager. Too much perhaps.

There is much going on here. No head, no lacing and a few bubbles. The taste is a bit of hops but not much else. Leaves a phlegm on the tongue. blah, but I win because it was free!

Bottle. Clear, pale golden color, small to no white head. Aroma is Somewhat floral, cereal. Sweetish taste, with low bitterness, sweet without beeing sticky. Aftertaste is a bit cereal, malty, nothing remarkable. Medium mouthfeel with a rather flat, boring, carbonation.

Clear, pale golden. Small white head. Sweet malty aroma, faint hints of hops. Light malty flavour, a little sweet, low bitterness. High carb and malty sweet finish.

Aromat słodowy, dosyć świeży, da się też wyczuć przyjemne akcenty chmielu. Barwa jasnozłota, klarowne. Piana drobna, wysoka, szybko opada i utrzymuje się cienka warstwa. W smaku słodowe, dosyć wodniste i pijalne. Orzeźwiające. Średnia goryczka. Ogólnie niczego nie urywa, ale na pewno lepsze od polskich lagerów koncernowych.

bottle from friend who went to Thailand pale in colour with no head at all not much on the aroma you get a little hop flavour coming through something you don’t get in other lagers its an ok beer but wouldn’t go out of my way for one again

Pale gold with a thin head. Not much nose, a bit sweet to taste with a very dry finish. Almost wine like in fact

Stereotypical translucent golden yellow appearance. No head. Few bubbles. Unimpressive metallic scent, although a little barley and sugar is present. Thin, smooth, and refreshing. Tastes far better than it smells. Initially a smooth combination of malt and honey present themselves, then for the finish, a pleasantly mild amount of hop combines with the honey and malt which extends the taste slightly longer than a typical lager. Certainly deviates from the norm and thus, I’m impressed.
