COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A premium lager beer brewed from the finest ingredients, Singha is a full-bodied 100% barley malt beer that is distinctively rich in taste with strong hop characters. Editor's Note: Recipe scaled down from 6% to 5% in 2007.

Bottle. Pours clear yellow, white head. Aroma is hoppy & malty. Flavor is pretty hoppy for a premium lager. I approve.

Pale gold body and a thin white head. malty aroma with a citric and little bread too. a little bitter in the finish. not very interesting.

Bottle. Very pale, with a loose white head. The dominate aroma is malt, with more fruitiness than would be expected from a lager. Strong, raw barley flavor in a medium body. Finishes relatively clean, leaving a bit of the grain flavor.

630ml bottle waitrose. it went down well with tom yum soup, but when i tried to concentrate on the beer i couldnt really find much to report, sweet pils like with no hops, standard lager.

3/1/08 From the bottle. Aroma is all strong corny, sweet pils malt with a very faint sour note and no hop presence. Appearance is very clear yellow gold with a low white head and decent lacing. Flavor is semisweet with earthy noble hops that seem to lack any flora. Mouthfeel is light bodied with a medium carb feel. Overall, ok for putting out the spicy food fire, but nothing special.

Cooled the heat of a good Thai meal, but other than that fairly unimpressive. Pretty typical light lager experience.

Not too bad, just a regular lager thats a bit drier than most.. probably due to the 6% alc that is unusual for this style (plus +.2).

Lot more flavor than I thought. Most of that surprise comes from this bitter aftertaste that is actually welcome. Alcohol level is a bit higher than most others but is not noticeable. This would make a good lunch beer. Other than that its your typical lager.
