COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A premium lager beer brewed from the finest ingredients, Singha is a full-bodied 100% barley malt beer that is distinctively rich in taste with strong hop characters. Editor's Note: Recipe scaled down from 6% to 5% in 2007.

Well, I guess maybe it would be better inthe summer. Anyway, very light in color, light in flavor, not really strong inthe hops like the advertisement says. I odn’t know, I feel ike if this is Thailands best lager, I feel like we should get together and send them some good lagers to show them what they’re missing. Or send the beers that we don’t like to a less fortunate country like Thailand. Hang in there guys, refreshment is coming......

Bottle. Decent enough looking beer when poured into a Singha glass. Holds its pillowy head well. Aroma is typical cairn and some DMS as well as aluminum. The sweetness of the corn is there but there’s also the metalic taste of tin can. Probably not the most exciting of beers to say the least.

golden pour with smaller sized head. grassy hop aroma. flavor was grainy with a hint of hop in the finish. clean and fairly crisp. nothing stood out as great or terribly bad.

Bottle. Clear and pale golden in colour with a medium sized fizzy white head. Quite boring and sterile. Hints of grain and metal.

Bit of green apple peel on the aroma, what little there is of it. A bit sweet, like many Asian beers. Not awful, pretty good with Thai food..

Singha is my favorite Thai beer. With a malty sweet aroma, nice color and pronounced head from a careless pour, this is a very satisfying beer. Good with any meal.
