A premium lager beer brewed from the finest ingredients, Singha is a full-bodied 100% barley malt beer that is distinctively rich in taste with strong hop characters. Brewed with three hops: Saaz, Perle and Hallertau. Editor’s Note: Recipe scaled down from 6% to 5% in 2007.

Pretty decent beer to go with a thai meal had a strong aftertaste almost similiar to a heineken but overall a pretty decent beer if you are at a thai restaurant

Singha is my favorite Thai beer. With a malty sweet aroma, nice color and pronounced head from a careless pour, this is a very satisfying beer. Good with any meal.

Pale golden, plain aroma, taste is slightly hoppier than expected, no corn or rice water, feel a bit more real. Still fresh, good for Thailand and Thai food.

Typical warm weather country beer. Bereft of anything challenging, the challenge is finding any point to it. Well, I’m sure sitting on the surface of the Sun (Thailand) getting an ice cold bottle of this in your hand, must seem quite satisfying. But, as I haven’t had this outside Thai restaurants or parties in someones flat, I just have to tell you that I find this a complete waste of time and resources.

Bottle 33cl. Golden with a white head. A bit neutral typical pilsner aroma. Not spectacular, but ok. Rather short finish.

The beer has a decent layer of foam. The foam is white and rough, but a nice layer remains in top. The beer is strongly carboxylated, bubbles are swirling trough the beer lively. The color is light golden yellow, very pale. The beer is quite clear. The aroma is simple. It is bitter, bready and has some alcohol in it. The taste also has some alcohol, a little hoppy bitterness and a sweetness. Not very special but not bad.

Very pale yellow color and virtually no head. Aroma of grains. Virtually tasteless. Almost all you taste is the forced carbonation which makes Singha taste as much like club soda as like beer. There’s nothing objectionable about this beer, but absolutely nothing interesting either.

Bottle. Pours translucent yellow, with white quickly-disappearing head. Aroma of mild hops, malt and barley, though more sour in on the tongue. Quite lively on the palate.

How boring for a 100% malt beer can you get? Refreshing, but it distracted from my chinese food dinner that accompanied it. Slight butter flavor along with extreme carbonation. Watery aroma.
