My oh my..how I miss Singha. Personally this is what Budweiser should be. Hoppy...nice bite. I’ve slugged down gallons of this great brew. Got a chance to tour the brewery also. It’s cleaner than most hospitals for real. Just beautiful. Hard to find in Japan but I did find a source at "Huis Ten Bosch" Theme Park in Sasebo. Great beer import store there. This beer will in fact slam your head if not careful. Rumors of formaldehyde seem to plague it like Tiger beer from Singapore. It’s a great summer beer..wet...thin..very crisp with lots of bite. Be careful with this one. It’s a great social/ light dinner beer also.!

Pours clear golden color, leaves no head. Average carbonation. Tastes bit too sweet for a lager.

Got from an In Person trade -- 500mL bottle pours a brilliant clear light yellow with a two finger head that lingers for about 5 minutes. Aroma is corn and stale cardboard. Flavor is thing watery with musty hops at the back. Meh.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pilsener glass. The appearance was a clear golden yellow color with a nice transparency about it. Moderate carbonation was seen rising to fill a rapidly dissipating white foamy head. The smell had some sort of cooked corn coming through in a grainy sort of way. The taste was sweet with somewhat of a vegetal quality in it. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionable quality about it. The carbonation finishes fairly smooth. Overall, not a bad pale lager as its always a decent beer with Asian dishes.

-At home after shopping- Golden with white head. Aroma is cereal, cardboard and some noble hops. Spritzy palate. Aftertaste is dry, cardboard and some noble hops in the end. Overall: Not to bad.

The scent is not horrible. But there is something with the malt that I simply do not appreciate. The taste feels cheap and quite watery. The overall rating is quite low. It is not specially tasty, but it is quite easy to drink.

Bottle, Shanghai&Bangkok Brussels. Pale with small unstable white head. Fuller body than most other lagers, sweet taste - bread, yeast, slightly bitter palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear golden color, topped with a moderate white head that disappears immediately. The mild aroma of malts is complemented by some grains, but there’s not much going on there really. The taste is light, sweet with balanced body and slight bittery finish. Slight metallic aftertaste doesn’t ruin it too much.
