UPDATED: JUN 10, 2003 Unimpressive lager. Drinkable but on the bland side. I always choose this at Thai restaurants, but usually because its the only beer on the menu. It does, however, go well with the spicy Thai foods. Updated details: Pale straw-gold and fizzy, bland, surely adjunct with rice?

Re-Rate 02/01/02: Pours a clear gold, white head a minimal lace, the nose is malt, the middle thin, the finish clean and weak, íNuff Saidí

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2005 OK, this wins the prize for the most horrifically overrated beer in my ratings: either itís got a lot worse or my tastes have got a lot more refined - probably neither. Anyways, itís sweet in a turnip/parsnip kind of way, has next to no discernible hop character, and has flabby raw alcohol in the finish that the beer canít contain, like diarrhoea spilling out the sides of a babyís nappy.rer8: this isnít THAT bad in fact itís perfectly serviceable in a kind of becksy way. some noble hops in flavour even if not very bitter, grainy malt, dry, extremely light body. gets a few marks for the fact that itís not adjuncty and DMSy like most other asian lagers.

Itís a typical Asian brew, meaning itís light and largely flavorless. Designed to cool the mouth from too many bird chilis.

Generic looking, with some decent sustained carbonation. OK balance of hop and malt in the aroma. But the taste is not good. What is that taste?? Ugly... Tiny bit of bitterness I think. Not a very good beer, to my taste.

Bright yellow colour, typical pilsner taste with all the soda pop fizz. Frothy white head dissipates as fast as the youthful glow of Christina Aguilera in one of her videos.

Very light golden colour. Skunky german beer smell. Mild taste, and especially good for a pils!

Pours with medium-high carbonation, light yellow-clear. Very short lasted bubbly head. Sweet malt/grain aroma with a nice hop smell (saaz??). Thin crisp/dry mouthfeel. Hoppy taste, with a decent amount of bitterness considering the low FG feel to it. Nothing special, but not bad, better than our local swill (CUB).

Pretty basic lager. Went well with my spicy and very tasty Thai food. This beer is still miles ahead of the BMC crap they shovel down our throats on this side of the ocean.
