dprior (118), Somerville, Massachusetts, USA Apr 22, 2002 Just bad. I don’t like Pilsners, and this one is terrible even for that. Smells like Bud and looks like Bud. In the flavor department, I’d take Bud any day of the week and twice on Sunday. This one has sort of a snunk afterbite to it.
pumpmaster (286), Florida, USA Oct 11, 2008 12 ounce bottle purchased at Total Wine Pembroke Pines, FL for $1.49 Nothing special. 00cobraR (969), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA Sep 25, 2008 Had this with sushi. Was good, but just your run of the mill lager. Nothing special. It was very refreshing. JesseM (406), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Sep 23, 2008 So what’s wrong with this beer? Surprisingly little. Another under-rated Asian lager. Nice German Noble-esque hops on the nose. Tasty Pils malt component with some definite hop presence throughout. Well done for what is technically macro brewed. It claims to be 100% malt, and I can actually believe it as there really isn’t much to suggest any adjuncts here. Very well balanced with a solid feel to it. A nice beer I’m glad I gave a chance to. j_b (755), Rochester, New York, USA Sep 20, 2008 Toffee in the nose, golden color, bit of German-style hops in palate (hallertauer/tettnanger?), also mild hoppy aroma, caramel in palate. Not bad, thanks for sharing Ron! Ron (750), Rochester, New York, USA Sep 18, 2008 Got my Thailand rating out of the way with this one. Clear yellow with almost no head. Some hops and sweet malt that also had a slightly sour taste.
