2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
I’ve tried this beer on several occasions at the spectacular Thai Room restaurant in Kill Devil Hills, NC. I always thought it was a good complement to the spicy food. I recently tried one by itself and found that it really does go better with the food. Pours a pale amber with a thin white head. Lots of hops in the aroma. Taste is okay with some grassy sweetness. A decent beer to go with spicy food...that’s about it.

Nothing too special, but don’t have anything to complain either, knowing that it’s your typical lager. Light, easy to drink and accompany by a certain level of sweetness.

I tailandesi ci hanno provato, ma a parte diffondere su larga scala un’altra birra industriale a bassa fermentazione, si sono fermati lě. Da provare solo per capire come mai sia diventata uno dei prodotti piů diffusi in Asia.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pretty standard stuff out of the large breweries in the eastern part of the world. Aroma of grassy grains and rice. Very light golden yellow color like a ginger ale. White fizzy head. Palate was crisp and highly carbonated. Light grains and a little hops bitterness up front. Otherwise, just a mass produced lager. Nothing special.

Cannette 330ml. Couleur jaune trčs pâle translucide, mousse blanche disparaissant en un clin d’oeil pour ne plus jamais revenir. Arôme de maďs, sucré, malt léger. Goűt de maďs, sucré, pomme trop műre, léger côté herbal. Carbonation trčs faible, voire absente, corps faible, aqueuse.

Világos sárga szín, hófehér vastag habja gyorsan összeesik. Édes-fémes illat. Csípősen szénsavas. Közepesen testes, cukrosan édes íz, amiben rövid időre feltűnik némi savanykásság, majd rövid komlós útóízzel zár.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle poured into pint glass. Straw body, thick white head. Some lace. Aroma is cereal. "Strong hop characters" aren’t immediately obvious - little in the aroma. Taste is a little clearer - normal, balanced lager. Highly carbonated. OK.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Colonial Spirits.
Pours a brillinatly clear light golden color with a huge fluffy white head that persists forever. Smells of sweet bready pilsner malt off set with a light amount of spicy hop and a touch of sulfur and mineral water. The flavor is sweet and a hint tart. Light sugary malt sweetness with a hint of earthy spice. Light to medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. Middle of the road pale lager. not offensive but not particularly complex either.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
33cl. Clear golden with a small film of creamy bubbles. Aroma of honey, dry grass and hard lemon candy. Tastes of caramel, dry grass and light citrus. Light body has high carbonation and leans to the sweet side, but has enough of a drying finish to have a couple of bottles. Had many of these in the past with some fiery Thai food and they work well in that setting, but not so much as a stand-alone beer now that I’m rating it. I must be remembering the higher abv version, and I also seem to recall it used to say "malt liquor" on the bottle. One of the better warm-climate industrial pale lagers.

Pale yellow pour with little fizzy head. Fairly high carbonation without much to offer in terms of aroma or flavor.
