1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 cyrenaica (941) - Milton, Ontario, - SEP 17, 2007330ml bottle
6.0% ABV
I tried this beer on September 14, 2007 at ’The Beer Bistro’ in Toronto. The beer poured a dark translucent gold with a light whit head. The aroma was slightly malty with a whole lot of grain. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour was very grassy. Not a beer I will buy any time soon (if ever again)

330 ml fra Rema. Lys gylden med hvitt skum som forsvinner fort. Aroma av lyst malt og noe honning. Smaker av sitrus med litt sødme og bitterhet. Middels kullsyre og grei ettersmak. (Munkegata, 26.05.13)

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Kita (437) - Koper, SLOVENIA - MAY 25, 2013
Bottled, 0.33l. Clear pale golden color with medium frothy white head and tiny lively bubbles. Aroma of herbs, grass, grainy malt and with some papery notes. Tastes of fresh grainy malt, then followed by grassy undertones. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry and resembles mild spiciness, while aftertaste is light hoppy. Light body, thin texture and soft carbonation in palate. There’s not much that you could expect from it, but still better than many Austrian macro lagers...

11.2 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours yellow clear, small white head. Aroma of grain and yeast. taste is also very bready, sweet and malty. Drinkable especially during a warm day. Nothing really great here but it is a decent lager.
2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 LiMuBai (89) - - MAY 18, 2013
Pours a crystal clear golden with white, thin head. Very bubbly, with loads of carbonation evident on the palate.
I’ts not Budweiser, but it’s a damn close Taiwanese attempt.

Just an average light pilsner, pleasant taste, but it’s not remarkable in any way.

This was one of two main beers I seemed to find at most places in Thailand, the other Chang. Well nothing much to write home about here, sort of a lame beer, flat no bitter, little grass aroma, tinny taste, flat overall.

Bottle poured into lager glass at Vietnamese restaurant. Typical pale golden color with thin white head. Aroma of malt sweetness, slight floral and metallic notes. Taste was light and easy. Thin body, lively carbonation, crisp with quick finish. Went well with my pho.
