3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pouring at BCTC. Pours a just clear gold with a large white head. Big and musky on the nose, dusty citrus with lots of yeasty phenolics. Medium bodied, but thins out a touch. Piney bitterness over caramel sweetness. Long smooth quinine and grapefruit. Nicely balanced.

on tap Brooklyn Public House - Bright warm gold color with crisp white head. Great strongish hoppy aroma - piney and green grass like. Hops are the predominant flavor - both fresh green, chewy, resiny hops but also a great well balanced bitterness. Clean malt flavors keep it in check. Love this IPA - wish we could get it in Philly. Hate the phrase "sessional IPA" in the description though. To me, "session" should be 4.5% and under.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at the growler NYC. Pours a bright orange cloudy color with a thin head that lasts consistent and lace on the Aida as well. Has that very grassy hoppy smell but is very drinkable on the palate

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at the brewery. Gorgeous orange pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is floral, soapy, resinous. Interesting hop profile. I wish I could place the hop they used but itís being elusive. Decent IPA, but again, just a little wonky.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: AUG 12, 2013 Draft at alewife with Andrew and Brendan. Pours a hazy amber body with white lacing. Aroma is faint hops and lots of bitter grapefruit. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of fresh pine, light malt, light soap and some flowers. Bitterness in the finish. Iím not sure why, because this doesnít fit the typical profile of IPAs I like, but this one is balanced just right.
