Keg at The Pony Bar UES, NYC. Pours clear gold with a small, white foam head. Lovely aroma with good urine notes, orange and other citrus, background pine. Medium to big sweet flavor with some spicy pine notes, a bit more pee, some gritty earth and grass, orange and grapefruit. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish with continued pee, sturdy citrus fruits, resinous pine, palate-kicking earth, mild pale malts and bread. Great stuff. Well balanced. Exceptionally drinkable.

500ml bottle in a tulip. Pours amber/golden with a white head. Aroma of floral and citrusy and piney hops, some pale and light caramel malts, and some dough. Flavor the same with a little bitterness. Average texture. A good beer but too West Coast style and not enough New England style.

Cask with yuzu @ Albion. Hazy bright yellow with large foamy off-white head, sweet citrus aroma, low carbonation, sweet citrus taste, thick body, very smooth, medium citrusy finish. Very smooth and quite sweet.

I have a policy of reading only a smidgen of the beer label when I am in the store. If I had read the whole thing on this, other than the fact that it was a IIPA from NY state, I would have left it on the shelf to gather dust. Fortunately for them, I ignored the incredibly busy label. Read the deScription above... what is this an advert for the old Batman show. sheesh. Overall its not a bad beer. Smooth and with a kick. No citrus uppercut. Some bitterness but they need to find a better deScription than Dank.

Bottle. About a month old. At 119 ibu this is ultra ashy and bitter. Notes of booze, lemon, bitter pine, and grain. Light to medium with ashy and boozy funk. Too much sugar for most part.

Iíve got to agree with the buzz. Pretty darn good. Pineapple and grapefruit jump out at you. Then the taste has plenty of grapefruit and finishes a bit earthy. Thick lush mouthfeel. Nice lacing, pale gold, unfiltered.

500ml bottle, $6.99. Full tropical fruit juice in the nose. Explosive. Taste is semi dry and lightly bitter. Taste is dole fruit syrup but thinner and drier. Nice hop expression. This is way better than I thought it would be. Wow.

Bottle from Julioís. Pours out a murky light orange color with a frothy off-white head. Nice aromas. Piney-floral-earth notes. Flavor is quite muddled. Layers of pine, grapefruit rind citrus, and floral-earth. Thick body. OK, but I was hoping this was going to be better than it is.

Bottle Purchased at Redstone Liquors, Andover location. Label stamped bottled in Oct. Bright gold color with thin lasting head retention in the snifter. Aroma is bright and pungent, grapefruit, grass, scallions, and mineral water.

The flavor is awesome, and a direct reflection of the aroma. With some light resin in the backend. WOW!. Thatís what Iím talking about! It has the boldness and hop profile of some brews made in the state of Vermont. Nice carbonation level showing a crisp dry finish. Top tier imperial IPA.
