Keg at The Pony Bar UES, NYC. Pours clear gold with a small, white foam head. Lovely aroma with good urine notes, orange and other citrus, background pine. Medium to big sweet flavor with some spicy pine notes, a bit more pee, some gritty earth and grass, orange and grapefruit. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish with continued pee, sturdy citrus fruits, resinous pine, palate-kicking earth, mild pale malts and bread. Great stuff. Well balanced. Exceptionally drinkable.

Lightly hazy golden-orange body, medium to thin white head, spotty lacing. Grapefruit, pine, resin, and some florals. Assertive pale and caramel malts fight back against a nice hop profile... eventually winning out in the flavor profile and reducing the appeal of this beer. Medium to full bodied, moderate to mild carbonation, assertive bitterness, a tad sweet and lightly boozy. A tad too malty for my liking.

Tap pour. Orange copper color in glass with ecru head. Full webbing all the way down. Pretty. Fresh aroma of orange and snap cookies. Dank. Medium body that houses high abv. Good hop balancing. Some grapefruit enters the scene. Good round flavors. Pleasant.

Ammoniac, sapin, fleurs à la puissance Hill Farmstead avec un corps étoffé, aéré, juteux. Des notes de banane et de noix de coco font parti de l’ensemble également.

On tap at Top Hops. A fresh, tasty big IPA. Grassy, vegetal hops are well balanced with rich malts. A solid 4 in my book!

Draft at Pony HK. Pours golden orange with a white head. Fruity hops, medium bitterness, lightly sweet malts, and light citric notes. A bit muddles; could be brighter. Still pretty good.

My first beer from this brewer and wow! From a growler filled and consumed the same day. Pours a clear gold with a moderate white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left partial lace. Awesome aroma of pineapple, melon, tangerine, and grapefruit. The flavor is malt with some caramel followed by a wash of melon, grapefruit and tangerine. Moderate bitterness at the finish. Dries out a bit after the swallow. Excellent!

@ Singlecut. Pours clear copper with a ring of off-white head. Aroma is full of diesel onions, reminiscent of the TG pale ales. Taste follows suit for the most part. Issue here is that there’s a decided lack of carbonation to support the beer. Falls flat with regard to texture. Also some weird astringency that doesn’t quite fit. Gets slightly better as it warms but I definitely prefer half stack to this.

Blond, mat of color, small head. Nose: exotic fruits, sweety, sticky. Taste: very dry, bitter, the fruityness of the nose does not finds it way in the taste. Aftertaste is very long bitter
