The battle being waged in onesí glass once they muster the courage to order this brew needs just a one word description. Epic. We think that characterizes the beer as well. The dark, roasted malts with hints of chocolate and coffee go blow for blow with the assertive American hop profile in search of control of this unique beers flavor. In the end a peaceful resolution emerges in the form of beautifully balanced Cascadian Dark.

The beer pours a basically black color with a small tight head & good lacing on the glass.
The aroma is very fresh & hoppy smelling with some fruit rind & light coffee. A little faint but nice.
The flavor is plenty bitter very low on astringency. Nicely fruity with light touches of chocolate & licorice. Well rounded & balanced but also very hoppy.
A knock out of the park for this brand spanking new brewery.
