(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Hilpeä Hauki, 20120124) The beer poured deep golden and hazy. Its head was large, white and long lasting. Aroma had honey, fruitiness, alcohol and initially some sulphur. Palate was medium bodied, tongue numbing and warming with quite high carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, hops, honey, quite mild sweetness, alcohol and bitterness. Aftertaste was boozy and bitter. Not completely bad tripel but disappointing still.

Pours a cloudy, dark golden orange color with a frothy, two finger white head that has excellent retention, onlsy slowly fadig into a thick lasting cap. Sporadic streaks and spots of lacing left behind. Sweet, slightly spicy aroma with lots of estery fruit notes and bready yeast. Hints of pepper, candy sugar and coriander along with alcohol phenols, apple, pear and grape. Medium body with soft carbonation and a nice spicy presence that lingers over the crisp, light fruit notes into a slightly dry finish. Hints of pepper and candy sugar followed by some apple and pear before finishing with slight boozy sweetness. Well balanced, flavorful and easy to put down.

Decent beer but not outstanding. Standard tripel characteristics but all sort of muted in nature. Some out of place mineral flavors. Serving: Bottle

Hazy gold in color with a whitish head. Smooth with a bit of spice and citrus leading to a nice finish that is a bit creamy. Not at all watery, nor strong on the alcohol.

Clear golden color/ lingering white sheen. Yeasty, straw, light fruit aromas. Light frothy mouthfeel. Peppery, spicy, sweet candi sugar, pils malt, earthy hoppy flavors--good.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy and with light spicy and floral notes. The flavor is similar, with a little bit of a dirty side. Not bad.
