33 cl. bottle @ Bier Central. Bright golden with a creamy white head. Smells of sweet esters, quite a bit of apples, yeast, sweetish, flowers, but sharp spicy touch as well,… Taste is that of sharp esters blended with some young sweeter apples, touch grains, alcohol is clear and not very hidden, hay, flowers and harp yeast,… warming. Body is very effervescent. A fine and dandy triple.

33cl bottle @ home. Clear yellow to golden color, full sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Smell malts, lightly yeast, coocked vegetables and lightly herbs and spices. Taste malts, slightly herbal or floral hops, some bitterness. Flavor is a weird mix. It also makes me think of leaves and leather, though it’s not a bad beer overall. Medium carbonation, medium body.

Aroma is malts, a good hint of sweetness and a hint of grapes. The flavor is sugar sweetness, bread, a mild undercurrent of spices and low tartness in the finish.

From notes: Poured hazy golden amber with a pillowy, 1-finger white head and some suspended yeast sediment. Aroma of bready yeast mixed with light citrus. Medium-to-full body, slightly thick. Light, malty sweet flavor with some earthiness from the yeast that becomes more pronounced as it warms.

330ml bottle dated best by March 30, 2013. Pours a bit dark for a triple, but nonetheless a lovely shade of cloudy orange with a light, fringe, off-white lacing. Wonderful, enticing aroma of honeycomb, dark citrus, and creamy hops. It might be a little unfair because it has some age, but this is drinking beautifully. Soft brown spice and honeyed/candied citrus and white fruit -- BUT finishes just to the dry. Extremely palatable. Not sure what it’s like young, but this is delicious. A little like an aged Houblon?

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2013 330ml bottle at BXL East. Pours cloudy golden colored with a thick, foamy white head. Aroma is fruity and yeasty, classic Belgian triple. Taste is nicely balanced, with notes of spice, yeast and fruity malts. Nicely done.

A good belgian. Pours a cloudy orange with light head. Not much smell, a little fruity and herby. Taste is sweet, and a little bit of green apple. A little boozy aftertaste. Good! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
