Had this beer in a flute glass at The Elephant Pub in Warsaw, Poland. The beer had a cloudy deep gold color with an enormous bubbly-foamy white head with unending retention and very good cling and lacing. The beer had a sweet floral and lightly citrus aroma with a touch of pine and some yeast with notes of sugar. The beer had a somewhat sour-bitter floral and fruity taste with a touch of sweet fruityness and light bits of yeast. The beer had a somewhat creamy and thick body with average carbonation and a dry finish with a fuller mouthfeel.

On tap. Sweetish-smooth. Hints of grain, fresh, malt. Nice sweetish banana yeast, not much bitterness. Round and sweet with a nice slightly bitter grainy aftertaste. Ok.

Bottle at Zuster Agnes, Lier, Friday 20th March 2015 (This is an excellent restaurant btw, with a decent beer list ) Hazy mid gold beer with a white head. Soft mouthfeel, really creamy like, spiciness shows. some warmth also coming through and a lingering bitterness. Fruity and tangy, easy drinking, good A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Orangy yellow with a fizzy foam top that doesn’t last long. Not bad but a bit flat. The typical malt, citrus, a bit of caramel. Medium finish. A bit watery despite the alcohol percentage.

Alengrin (4344) - BELGIUM - OCT 12, 2014
Stereotypical abbey tripel with loose, off-white, not too stable head and misty ochre blond colour. Aroma of apple and apricot, some peppery spiciness too, and sweetish malts; sweetish onset, fruity and spicy notes, bitterish finish unfortunately ruined by badly hidden alcohol and solvents. What bothered me even more in this, is the relatively thin, near watery mouthfeel, which I do not expect from a tripel.

Très bonne triple façon belge: ronde, complexe, pas trop amère, 8,3%...à essayer!

Pours golden with medium head, quickly disappearing. Sweet malt aroma. Inoffensive, sweet but somewhat boring flavour. Indistinctive.

Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin frothy white head. The aroma is big yeast rich citrus hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a mineral earthy alcoholic resin hop bitter palate and a frothy mouthfeel. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
