Bottle @ home. Pink head on top of a dark red colored beer. Smell some kind of berries, but no idea which. Probably ’bosbessen’ (blueberry in English??). The smell reminds me of some kind of candy I used to like as a kid and also it smells like cassis. Taste sweetness and fruits with a slightly different finish. Low carbo, low body.

0,3 liter fles. Drinkt wel lekker weg. Het is meer verfrissend dan bier.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Martinus (663) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - JUN 21, 2011
Deep red purple colour, purple-ish lasting white head. Aroma of bilberry with some sweet lemonade tones. Flavour of bilberry and sugar. Some malt tones. Too much sugar for my flavour, I would have liked to taste the astringency of the bilberry skin. Too sweet, otherwise OK.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 suprchunk (802) - Heinsberg, GERMANY - FEB 26, 2011
Color is deep deep red, almost purple - actually more purple than red. A slight purple tint to a white head that poured very high and stayed for almost the entire time (don’t know what the below had coating their glasses before the pour - soap?).
Holy blueberry batman. Smells like blueberry pie. Don’t know if they used fresh REAL blueberries, but man it smells like it. A little bit of sweetness pokes through. But that is about it. Smells more like blueberry gum after awhile.
Not as much blueberry as I hoped from that big smell of it in the beginning. Tastes of blueberries though. And a little fusels there making it seem hotter than it is.
Sweet artificial blueberry taste coats the mouth. Not unpleasant, but not as pleasant as it seems. Not off-putting or overwhelmingly artificial, but makes you wonder what they used to flavor it.
If it is hot out and you can’t fathom drinking a big, or hoppy beer. And you crave a wine cooler, but know your friends will laugh at you, drink this for a bit. Quenches the thirst, but may be too sweet and fruity for the long haul.
Highly recommend everyone try this unique beverage, strangely decent.
