A red beer with a huge pink head that laces the glass. The aroma is sour with notes of green leaves, blackberries, and black currant. The flavor is of blackberries, black currant and a dry hoppy end. And the body is thin - so it taste like a too thin fruit syrup.

(Bottle 25 cl) My version was 4,5% ABV. Pale red colour, pretty much like a traditional kriek actually. Tall, pretty, pinkisk and almost velvety head. Some underlying sweetness from the blueberries but not overwhelmingly so. On the contrary this is rather dry and never cloying as with some of the more pop-like fruit-beers. Based on pils, which is fairly unusual. 130795

<i>Bottled.</i> Cherry red. Acidic blueberry/raspberry aroma. Sweet, clean and light bodied. Thin with more berries in the finish.

25 cL bottle, 4.5%, one of my first Belgian beers ever if I recall right - rerate 2008. Pours unclear deep purple in beer flavour and purple lacing white head. Solid blueberry aroma, slight earthy and mild spiced. Sweet blueberry flavour - lending towards a slight strawberry like note. Mild finish with a mild sweetness and continued blueberry fruity note.

Bottled. Clear deep red colour, mediumsized reddish head. Aroma is black currant, blueberries and quite sugary with some wooden notes. Flavour is black currant, sweet wooden notes and a lot of sweetness. Quite watery, and not very nice.
