Pours hazy, deep, red-brown with a small, creamy beige film head. Aroma is soft caramel, light ozidation. Some spices and brew mash. Medium carbonation, okay mouthfeel. Flavour is pleasantly sweet, good yeast, light oxidation. A touch of cinnamon. Wonderful balance. Grovlam (3204), Copenhagen, Denmark Apr 29, 2008 Bottle. Vintage 2003 [Courtesy of Myrup, thanks buddy] Large beige creamy head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Light cloudy dark amber colour. Aroma of nutty, fruity, yeast, hint of coriander, roasted malt. Over the palate came lovely toffee, dried fruity notes. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet fruity flavour with hint of bitterness. Sweet fruity and nutty finishes.
