Keg?, Amsterdam BBF2003. Hazy amber, thin white head and moderate condition. Piney hop resin and malt in the nose. Full bodied sweet honey and hop flavours with a pleasant wheatily phenollic banana note. More sweet honey and malt into the finish and a touch of hop bitterness.

Bottled. Nut brown. Sweet malt aroma. Sweet with lots of caramel, velvetty soft mouthfeel. Fairly low bitterness. A softly warming bockbier.

Bottle at home. Bought in Groningen. Dark brown colour, tall head. Chocolaty, nutty and wheaty taste. Sweet and spicy. Tangy with a nuts and dark chocolate finish. Very stand-up.

caesar (3948) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - OCT 19, 2002
Sampled at Utrechts Bokbierfestival: Nut brown color, medium lasting head. All different kinds of tastes in it, fruity, sourness, sweet malty. But all are very weak, not a taste that is abundantly present. Overall decent bock, but weak taste.

A Mes rate: 33cl bottle from Quinns. Sweet yeasty nose with a lick of alcohol. Ruby brown colour. Very lacey looking lace. Slight off milk in the flavour. Rather thin in the mouth. Sweet malt finish

[2003] Amber color with a slight off white head. The taste is sweet with some fruity notes. Has some yeasty notes and light alcohol on the palate.

Courtesy of Fonefan. Dark orange with an OK head. The aroma is slightly sour with notes of yeast and hints of wet feathers. The flavour has sweetness, notes of malt, spice, yeast, light fruit and the overall impression is fine and smooth.

Not really a bad beer but I look more like Madonna than this beers tastes like a Bock. Prune, orange and a little yeasty aroma. Orange color, off-white head, good lace. Sweet, average body, orange, hop. Little unbalanced. Hopbitter and sweet finish. Call it Skendelse Belgian Ale and it’s nice.

A weak bock indeed.
