bikesandbeers (419), San Diego, California, USA Feb 22, 2006 Bottle from Bert’s Beirhuis, Utrecht. A gusher, but luckly it didn’t hurt th albel beacuse its very cute. The beer poured a hazy brown with a huge firm white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity, most noticably chery lifesavers. Lots of yeast in the falvor along with some fruit and caramel. Finishes just a bit soapy.. Needs some refinement, but not a bad brew. jbrus (4194), Delft, Netherlands Oct 29, 2004 It’s not bad but it has somekind of homebrew character over it and it looks shitty. Aroma and flavor is yeast, prune, cherry, coriander and sweet. skortila (2433), Bunnik, Netherlands Aug 22, 2004 Sampled at Ledig Erf Biermarkt 2004. Fruity, yeasty and malty, slightly soapy aroma. Cloudy, orange-brown coloured with a firm off-white lasting head. Much yeast particles indeed. Taste is malty (chocolate), bit soapy, quite fruity. Bit unbalanced. Bit sharp. However quite tasty. bierkoning (4935), La Tropica, Netherlands Oct 26, 2003 Dark orange brown color. Chunks of yeast floating. Yeasty orange flavor. Sweet apples, some chocolate and caramel. Rather vinous and alcoholic. Chocolate aroma. Likeable beer that resembles Birrebier, luckily without the honey. Not perfectly brewed, like most other St Servattumus beers.
