Smell malts, a bit sweetish and some herbs I think. Taste fruits like sweet apple, slightly banana and I also taste a bit of alcohol. Towards the end also a swift bitter touch. A bit fizzy carbonation, medium body.

Bottle from Berts Bierhuis. Hazy golden colour, medium off-white head. Nose is spicy, sweet caramelly, bit of yeast. Flavour is yeasty, sweet malted, bit of spices. Light bodied, sweet finish. Meh.

Pours a not really inviting "drink me please" beer. Really a brown crazy color. Did expect this beer wasn't good any more. The aroma is average. Sweet.
It tasted medium sweet. You can taste the zoethout in it. Also it tasted a bit licorice.
The palate was average. Medium body, sticky texture and a average carbo

Bottle @ home thx to benzai. Murky yellow to orange with a decent white head. Smells malty. Little to no smell. Tastes malty and sweet. Not much to say about this one. Can’t really taste the liquorice wood, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. Low carbo, medium body.

Clear amber, rather small, off-white head. Strange aroma and taste. Hard to define and hard to like as well. It’s not "zoethout", but I don’t know what it is.

Bottle at home. Hazy golden pour, thin white head. Aroma of spices, soap, metallic and a bit dusty. Flavor is quite spicy, sugary sweet malts, some caramel, candy and with a thick body and huge carbonation. Off balance.
