A decent Kölsch that doesn’t stand out in any way. Served cold, it is close to a regular pale lager.

Lightly hazed golden amber with a thin white head.
Nose is pale malts, grass, light citrus.
Taste follows.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp dry finish.
Ok kolsch but getting kolsched out by this one ... very much so !

Draft at Reidenbacher with Andrew, Brendan, Dubra, slickrick and respective girlfriends. Pours a light, golden amber body with light whit lacing. Aroma is pretty minimal - some malt and light spicy yeast. Mouthfeel is relatively clean and crisp with notes of sweet, bready malts, spice and faint grassy hops.

0.5L bottle at Home, Typical Kölsch looks and aroma, taste was amazing, one of the better Kölsch i have had.

Vom Faß ist es einfach als lecker zu bezeichnen. Leicht, frisch, ausgewogen zwischen Malz und Hopfen. Etwas süßlicher als das Referenz-Kölsch Päffgen, aber doch recht ordentlich! Keinesfalls so wässrig im Antrunk wie die meisten Kölsch.

On tap at @SionRestaurant, Cologne. some sweet and light herbal aromas, pours clear, golden, with ligh white head. Light body, crispy, high carbonation. Tastes malty and slightly hoppy. Refreshing, but nothing remarkable.

Bottle. Very lagery aroma - grainy malt, some grassy hops, some faint notes of apple and metal. Light malty taste, dry body, not too flavourful. The bitterness is quite strong for this style. Tastes a bit like a German pils.

From tap at the brewhouse, Köln. This was quite simple, light and mild version of the style. Maybe the least good kölsch I had on my trip at Köln.
