Lilith (242), Santiago, Chile Jun 28, 2007 Hazy copper color, medium white head. Aroma is sweet of vanilla and banana. Flavor is sweet, with hints of honey and apple. Dry finish.
almosi (279), Viña del Mar, Chile Jul 18, 2007 Has a color coppery amber. A big head, which is kept enough time. The aroma is to sweet and something of fruits. The flavor is well malty, with something of excess of caramel. The hop is identified well. I would say that it is a balanced well beer. The body is average, good. The finish is with too much caramel (it is the serious mistake of the majority of the Chilean beers). Nevertheless, this beer on the average of the Chilean beers. davidpl (410), Santiago, Chile May 19, 2007 Updated: Aug 28, 2007Appearance: coppery amber. Big head, beige, consistent and persistence.
Aroma: Dominated by sweet malts and the hop. Fruity, with herbaceous and pine touches from of the hop. Candy, toasted cereal and reminiscences of pear.
Flavor: sweet malted, candied, touches of the vanilla and honey. Fruity like the pear, quince and the skin orange. Liquory like whisky. Flavor begins sweet and finishes with medium and persistent bitterness. Presences of the hop that reminds herbs.
Palate: Medium body, semi-oily texture. Medium carbonation.
A nice surprise, it is much more than another handcrafted chilean beer. Very advisable.
