Bottle from Cornelius. Surprisingly light amber pour. Bug white head. Very clean lemon and vanilla nose. Sweet resin and floral taste. Tart with creamy body. Way lighter than I expected.

[From backlog] Draught @ Bishops Arms Folkungagatan.
App: Soft hazy golden yellow, short creamy head.
Aroma: Grapefruit, mango, lychee, honey cookies, pine, ripe and slightly fermente tropic fruit.
Taste: Sweet with tropical fruits, grapefr, mango, apricot, lychee honey, pine, alcohol and herbs. It’s pretty sweet, but the bitterness balance it decently.
Palate: Medium, sticky oily, crisp carb with small bubbles.
Overall: A bit sweet and heavy, but decently fresh. One is good enough.

A hazed golden amber ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, strange fruit malt, with light catty and floral hops, light sulfur, interesting. In mouth, a grainy malt with loads of alcohol, light coriander, floral and piney, light catty notes, interesting. On tap at redlight redlight.

Bottle. Amber with an inch of white head that lasts very well. Aroma of lemon, lime, honey, peach, cantaloupe. Creamy texture, quite high carbonation. There’s a fair bit of sweetness, but bitterness comes in straight away. Citrus is zestier (and more grapefruity) than suggested by the aroma. A melange of tropical and stone fruit and a bit of a rush with the citrus towards a rather dry and fairly bitter finish. Some pine and pepper show up there too. Kept thinking I’d started this too cold and some more depth and charm might emerge, but it never loosened up. Still pretty good though.

HUGE fluffy white head and a crystal clear light amber beer. Very aromatic, florals, melon, big fruits, spices bad very citric. A very bitter sweet beer, like a caramel cream cake with a ton of lemon. Nice sweet caramels and nut with lots of resins and citrus bitterness. The finish is fresh and sweet, pancakes with lemon and sugar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Golden brown with a large white foam. Aromas are biscuit with resinous pine and leafy, herbal notes. Grapefruit with mellow oranges and spices. Flavours are sweet biscuit with tropical fruit and woody, floral pine. Resinous green notes with a spicy finish. Citrus rind bitterness. Pretty good but not as good as expected.

Corps sirupeux armé d’une résine sucrée, vraiment intéressant comme texture. On peut percevoir le mais et son sucre simple dans l’éventail des céréales et le mariage avec le miel et l’aspect fruité est réussi mais pas renversant.

Bottle Beer Gonzo - Wonderful IPA and exquisitely balanced with little alcohol coming through. Lovely citrus aromas & one of the few beers brewed with honey I have really enjoyed. Well done

Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Hazy, pale amber. Thin, filmy, sticky, white head. Sweet, fusty (but in a good way), pink grapefruit, juicy, and some kind of minty herbiness going off. Very intriguing. Taste is that brûléed grapefruit, tastiness, that these DIPA’s lean toward. I’m all for it. Possibly the only beer with honey (other than Bracia), that I’ve really enjoyed.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail

BBE 31st December 2015 - Pours clear golden orange with a thick white head. Aroma of floral hops, grass, citrus, crisp caramely malts and hints of sweet juicy fruits. Taste is malty, bitter and floral hoppy with hints of sweet juicy fruits and herbal notes. Finish is malty, hoppy and herbal hoppy with some bitterness and crisp fruity notes. Okay DIPA, but nothing special.
