Hazy uncharming shade of amber, decent nicely dispating head. Fairly boozy or sweet, dry and rusky nose - sweet boozy burn already. Deals in with a thick limey sweetness, breaks up what could be a caramel malt stomp over the palate. Unamped hops, lovely tinselly sweetness creeps in. Finish is neon bright booze, linger is cooling and sweet. Takes a wee bit to get through the gears on this, feels like a meal in itself - an impressive sideswipe on DIPA.

Bottle picked up directly from Siren Brewery, Finchampstead; Berkshire, 20th November 2013 consumed at home Friday 22nd November 2013 Hazy amber with a slight orange murkiness, off white head atop. I get a little bit of fresh pineapple on the nose, rich nose I think I can also detect a little alcohol and sweetness (probably honey) Taste is great, again this is very soft, velvety and almost carresses the tongue. Tons of flavour rich with a good bittersweet balance, alcohol is present. Hoppy but fruitiness is bordering on the tropical but with a slight harsh little burn from the alcohol in fact one of the few things that is a negative. A jolly nice beer, really good but I had the QIPA (again) and the Ryseing Tide last note both superb beers. A8 A3 T8 P5 Ov14 3.8

Draught at Hamnmästaren. Hazy golden coloured with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of hops, pine needles and grass. Sweet and fruity flavour of hops, pine needles, caramel and citrus peel. Hoppy finish.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2013 Tap at CBC Clerkenwell. Pours hazy orange with a small white head leaving a touch of lacing. Nose is big big passionfruit. Some moderate piney hops and light dank come through with the main winner being the heavy tropical fruits. Taste is big passionfruit and mango, sweet tropical forward stuff. Light honey and lime zest make up the undertones while the zest grows on the finish. Mild warmth right at the back end. Works well. Prickly carbonation which helps it flow. Good stuff but a touch too sweet and unbalanced

On tap at Colin’s Wedding Party - somewhere outside London. This is a damn fine beer marked by its exceptional balance. It’s loaded up with orange, lemon and urine. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Resinous on the finish, moderately sweet with more bright citrus fruits, pee. You really can’t detect that this beer is as strong as it is. Great stuff. Super drinkable.

Very hazy dark chestnut brown with fluffy offwhite head. Rich peaches and raspberries on the nose. Light carbonation and full bodied, fairly sweet at first then long citrus pith and red berries plus something else I can’t quite put my finger on. Really well balanced, belies its strength, superb.q

Draught at Hamnmästaren, Malmö
Cloudy amber color with small head. The aroma is intensively fruity, peach apricot and mango. Strong body, round mouthfeel; good flavor of toffee and malt, quite sweet; strong bitterness with evident fruity hop character and also enough hop resins. Long final, with mildly abrasive resins.
Nothing new under the sun, but it’s a fruity and still quite fresh brew, not too difficult to drink neither, for what it is.

A Mes rate. Not sure on how a Siren and Grass Roots collaboration works out... Ryan? Anyway, this is a bloody good beer. Excellent clean gold with a very impressive, lasting white head. Nose is "drink me now" IPA with just a lick of honey. In the mouth the honey comes through a lot more but only in flavour, there’s no stickiness at all. High level of bitterness, lovely and dry and there’s something distinctly Cigar City about it. Can’t put my finger on it but hell... I could imagine this with some cedar in it. That would be awesome. Anyway, back to what I have in front of me... An excellent, easy drinking IPA, possibly a touch on the sweet side, but not enough to spoil it. Lively bitter finish, drying as it goes along. Lingering honey / hop aftertaste that’s really enjoyable. I’m struggling to write this before I down it. Very good beer and most importantly, something I’d happily drink more than one of.

Tap@Ferm, Cph - golden/amber coloured pour, with a medium white head. Fruity hoppy citrus taste and aroma, orange and lemon, pine, grassy, caramel malts, nice floral tones, good mouthfeel, great bitter finish. Lovely stuff!
