330ml bottle at home shared with Saeglopur, from trade with Nische, many thanks. BB 12/2014. black color, small dark coffee-colored head. smells of malty roast, ash, bitter chocolate, peat, spices. overall nice smell, peat notes a bit too present though. full body, soft carbonation, creamy mouthfeel. tastes of ash, coffee, bitter chocolate, light berry notes, milky / creamy, hints of sweetness, spices, some wood, lightly sour. finishes with very nice notes of creamy bitter chocolate and of light ash and nice roast notes. not so crazy about the smell, but the taste and especially the finish is very nice, just a tad bit medical though.

330 ml bottle. Rating this one mainly for the tick. Unfortunately my bottle leaked and it was rather oxidized when I drank it. It had a glorious aroma, but it won’t be fair to judge it in these conditions. 3.8 as it’s the current average score and I don’t want to change anything.

Bottle from BeerRitz, Leeds. An inky black beer that pours with a thin tan head. It has a very rich chocolate and cherry flavour, vanilla notes and a sweet and tart fruity, slight roasted chocolate finish.
