Bottle. Black pour with a ring of tan head. Coffee, bourbon, vanilla, oak and dark malt aromas. Really dark malts, dry finish, coffee, roasted plausibly a sweet touch.

Bottle at home 20th September 15, Rating #1300. Pours a dark viscous, slick glass of beauty, with a neat tan head. Aroma is salty liquorice, molasses, fudge, brown sugar, black treacle, booze. Taste is coffee, molasses, salty liquorice, some bitterness, some sweet, slight bourbon, delicious. Full palate, smooth as silk. Fabulous and world class Imperial Stout

2/21/15. Sampled during RBWG 2015. Thanks, Leighton! Black pour with a nice tan head, good lacing. Great aroma, lots of coffee, bourbon, chocolate, fudgey, vanilla. Yum. Disappointing flavor, char, ash, coffee is leaning towards green pepper a bit, chocolate, bourbon. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours super black with a thin head. Molasses, rich brownie, chocolate, fresh coffee and cream, mild sweet bourbon, and lighter roasted malts. Just a touch too rich for my tastes, but still very good.

Very nice. Big roast and coffee here. Some chocolate and a hint of hoppy lime. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bittersweet finish. Well integrated barrel. Thick freaky consistency. Well balanced and equal to original if not better. Tap at Churchkey.
