COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an awesome collaboration with Mikkeller and Hill Farmstead. It will mess with your mind as an IPA designed to mimic Limoncello. A slightly sour mash, combined with Lactose for sweetness, tonnes of lemon Zest and hopped to death with Sorachi Ace and Citra. Bottle, cask and keg.

On tap at Churchkey. Pours a somewhat cloudy orange color with a medium white head. A big sweet fruity nose, funky horse-blanket. The flavor is fruity fresh citrus hops, a bit of oranges, sour funky base, wheat. Very nice. Interesting brew, it works.

Draft at Churchkey, staff recommendation. Cloudy yellow color, fluffy white head. Aroma of freshly cut wet grass and lemony hops. Taste is like a dry hopped bitter limoncello. Interesting.

If you’ve ever had limoncello in Italy, especially Capri, you would know that it is very tart, slightly sour, and boozy. This beer mimics that very well. Zesty aroma from the lemon yellow beer. Lively carbonation. Very bitter from the citric acids, almost sour. Dry finish with grapefruit notes. Not your typical IPA.

Pours a ultra clear golden with a medium white head that leaves really nice lacing. Nose is of citrus oil, resin and oranges. Taste is nicely tart and offers meyer lemons, piny hops and orange juice. Not too bitter, more aromatic than bitter. More lemon juice, nice! Body is light to medium, carbonation moderate. Overall this was a really fine drink, not sure if I got the same bottle as everyone else or maybe it is the circumstances (magnificient cabin in the Vermont wood)?

16 oz. bottle labeled Lemon Cello. No dates. It pours a very hazy orange color wit ha thick white head. The aroma had some estery things going on along with higher alcohols, strong lemon and tangerines. Maybe the sour mash or possibly some oxidation setting in. The flavor is more pleasant with an intense lemony tartness, oranges, hints of caramel and alcohol with strong piney bitterness. I’m not getting any of the Lactose. Huge citrus and surprising tartness with some subtle funky esters that seem more like fermentation problems in a beer like this. Very weird, and not as good as I was hoping.

Bottle. Yellow pour with white head. Some solid lemon aromas. Flavors are more vibrant, mostly citrus and lemon tones.

Bottle at home with Harvey. Pour is hazy golden-orange with a small white head and decent lacing. Aroma is fresh squeezed orange and hair fruit juice - lighter notes of grass, tart lemons, mango, biscuit, and pineapple. Taste is bitter fruit peel, lemon juice, grass, papaya, biscuit, and pineapples with a medium bitter, tart finish. Full mouthfeel with high carbonation. Juicy fruit, tart and bitter IPA. Really tasty, but not exactly what I expected.

(keg) slightly hazy deep golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of herbal hops and grass, with a hint of mango, some cactus juice, yeast and earth. flavour is mostly lemons, apricots and heavy grapefruit, slightly tart, with some alcohol in the finish. medium- to heavy-bodied with soft carbonation.
