COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an awesome collaboration with Mikkeller and Hill Farmstead. It will mess with your mind as an IPA designed to mimic Limoncello. A slightly sour mash, combined with Lactose for sweetness, tonnes of lemon Zest and hopped to death with Sorachi Ace and Citra. Bottle, cask and keg.

Bottle: Hazy amber-ish hue with a good head but not much lace. Massive lemon rind on the over the top acidic palate. It is like a Radler on roids. I was at first shocked by it, liked it for a brief moment for being different, then got bored quickly with the one note character. Oh the aroma smells of dirty soapy water... Lemon soap of course. Honestly this sucks as it warmed where the god awful aroma got worse. I started picking up plastic and medicinal notes. There actually there is no bitterness apparent due to the overwhelming acidity. It is NOT an IPA, but a sour and a piss poor one at that... I dumped the 2nd half of the bottle down the drain. Maybe if I tried a fresher bottle some bitterness may have shown but gotta review what is in the glass.

This poured a cloudy golden yellow with a white head. Aroma was of lemon morange pie and light tropical fruit. Flavor was similar. Really nailed the lemon aspect without being artificial. Definitely an artisinal and skilled beer to create.

500 ml bottle shared by jsprime. A very unique beer. Huge lemon. Quite sweet. A touch sour. Decently cleansing. Very good.

Bottle from tom10101. Cloudy yellow pour with two fingers of thick white head. Aroma is citrus, lemon peel, pine, and tropical fruits. Taste is light lemon up front, followed by some slight bitterness, more lemon and a bitter puckering finish. As advertised it’s got lots of lemon, interesting beer but the citrus character dominates a bit too much for my liking.

Keg at Kings Arms in Bethnal Green, 1/3 pint. Spotty lacing from a tiny layer. Clear orange coloured body. Fresh semi-tart lemon on the nose. Fresh apricot and lemon to the taste buds. Mild fruity tartness to the ending. Well bodied. Tasty and super refreshing (London 26.09.2014).

Pours hazy mostly unclear golden lighter orange with a beige head. The aroma brings zesty citrus. The flavor brings big lemon zesty dryness and then the sorachi ace is overpowering for my palate personally, followed by pleasant and dry lemony citra hop notes. This beer is complex to say the least!
