This is an awesome collaboration with Mikkeller and Hill Farmstead. It will mess with your mind as an IPA designed to mimic Limoncello. A slightly sour mash, combined with Lactose for sweetness, tonnes of lemon Zest and hopped to death with Sorachi Ace and Citra. Bottle, cask and keg.

Bottle shared with Paul. Pours a golden body with thick white head and lasting lacing. Aroma is lemon candy, light citric hop, sweet citrus fruits and sugar. Mouthfeel is medium with noticeable bittering character upfront and notes of sweet lemon desert squares, bitter lemon hop, citrus syrup and light grapefruit. Light zest and lots of sugar. Good.

Draft sample. Poured clear copper color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Medium to heavy complex citrus hop aroma. Medium to full body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet citrus flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer.

Bottle: Hazy, yellow-gold with a tall, thick, off-white head. Aroma is like those lemon square cakes.... Taste is VERY tart, acidic lemon, yeast... Lactic, Lemon-peel bitter...souring as it goes... A strikingly different sort of Imperial IPA.... Eye-popping, to say the least.

Had on draft at Mikkeller bar. Citrusy, tropical fruit, slight sugary sweetness, noticeable acidity.

Drunk from 33cl bottle bottle bought from Deliciously Different in Belgium. Sour with hint of limoncello. Not my favourite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap. Hazy orange/amber, small off-white head. Nose is lemony hops, wheat-like tartness, oranges and tropical fruit. Tart right up front, brightly hoppy, with a longer than expected finish. Took about half the glass to really settle into my palate, but this is cool.

Aroma: smells very strange, lemon sweets, those little bottles of (semi-artificial) lemon juice. Lactic. Taste: big lemony sour hit. Not very "beery" at all. Some bitterness in the finish, very tart. More like a soft-drink than a 9% beer, but more complex. Nice to try it, but I don’t have to try it again.

Draft at Ei8ht Ball. Pours a clear dark golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, caramel, sticky lemon citrus, tangy character, more sweetness than bitterness, not bad, but I like much more bitterness in a DIPA.

Vibrant hazed, sunset amber body sits beneath a slowly fading, frothy crowned, smooth and tight white head creating thin, arcing peninsulas of lace rhythmically flowing around a lasting cap

Aromas and favors with solid medium intensity, creamy-lactic rounds funk of the damp basement and mud sprinkled mushroom variety with sweet and tart lemon candy highlighted by citrusy hop components, glowing and juicy with controlled tartness, guava and passionfruit come to mind with accents of green melon and notions of agave on a beautifully soft, silky smooth, creamy medium weight body with medium carbonation offering fading residuals of the previously mentioned components leaning on the sweet side, hard to believe this is 9.1% considering how effortlessly it drinks

16.9oz bottle without date code served at 45° into 14.7oz Zwiesel Cognac snifter

330ml bottle. Slighty cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, lemon zest, slightly sweaty resinous and woody. Taste is initially citrusy hoppy, lemon, lemon zest, lemon liquor, slightly sugary sweet, just bitterness, no tartness, a slighty grassy touch throughout; citric acid not until the finish, therefor pronounced then.
