This is an awesome collaboration with Mikkeller and Hill Farmstead. It will mess with your mind as an IPA designed to mimic Limoncello. A slightly sour mash, combined with Lactose for sweetness, tonnes of lemon Zest and hopped to death with Sorachi Ace and Citra. Bottle, cask and keg.

Bottle from Mikkeller Bar SF. Pours a golden orange with a firm off white head. Nose is a lemon juice bowl - so much juicy lemon, lime and grapefruit. Holy fuck. Taste is juicy tarty lemon, grapefruit and lime. Very fruit driven ipa. Fucking sensational. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at Eurhop beer festival 2014. Light sunrise orange, slightly hazy with a small off white head. Very pungent nose, almost perfumy, big time lemon and zesty notes. Hoppy, but at the same time almost Belgian like. A hint of bread and mature yellow fruits. Very very lemony forward, not much balance to it. Quite tart and moderately bitter. Average carbonation, medium body, creamy texture. Hard to consider it an IPA, imho. Itís not bad overall, but itís too one sided, sour and unbalanced for me.

Cloudy yellow foggy pour from draft at home. Got it from blackwells. Lemons dominate the smell and Taste. Good hops and bitter dry taste. Just very tart and fruuty

Pint bottle. Very cloudy dingy golden brown. A white head that has the consistency of shaving cream. Light tropical fruit, lemon, and sweeter malts in the aroma. Tart lemon, lime, grapefruit in the first sip. Those flavors continue through the end. This was was too much like a lemon fruit beer for me.

A very different, although surprising experiance. This IPA really taste a lot of lemon, it is sour but not unpleasantly. Very fun to taste!

From keg at the Euston Tap on 9 September 2014. Iíd really enjoyed this one in the past (note to self: where are my old and more extensive notes?). However, on this occasion, whilst the aroma was still heady and hoppy, I found the lemon a touch to dominant on the palate, rather smothering the hops. Still, drinks pretty easily for 9.0%.

Bottle. Pours with a medium hazed golden hued body with a white head that has some decent retention. Aromas are hoppy: lemon, pinesol, light dill, mildly zesty lemon character, slightly biscuity malt. A touch woody oddly. Flavors are tart and mildly bitter, lemon, zesty, strong Sorachi Ace dill notes. Mild sweetness. Light malty. Lively carbonation, off dry, decently well hidden alcohol. Inventive.

Interesting for sure if you like lemon. Hazy orange pour and pinesol lemon aroma. Lots of tart lemon with some hop charavteristics. Little dry. Moderase body and carbonation. Interesting.

Keg at casc. Pours a very slight hazed orange with a small froth head which fades. Aromas of sweet lemon and nice bitter lemon cello taste.
