Tap at the Cask, Pimlico, 13/06/13 thanks to Josh. Lightly hazed orange amber with a thin white head that clears edgeward. Nose is caramel, bitter orange, hops, good pine blast. Taste comprises caramel malt, bitter hops, orange pith, grass, bitter grapefruit, bubblegum. Full bodied, fine carbonation - pitched expertly keeping this big boy drinkable, touch of booze but well integrated, dry finish with hop bitterness. A well balanced DIPA, great on the palate, ta Ryan !

Craft islington. Keg Hazy amber beer, little white head. Palate is smooth and a little soft with mild fine carbonation. Creamy malt base, a little caramel. Fantastic hops here - light tangerine and orange with lesser marmalade. Sweet pine, touch of grass and a whisper of skunk. Mild tropical fruits, tinned. Smooth finish. Marvellously drinkable.

Really sweet aroma, toffee, caramel, raspberry, wood, quite sweet. A lighter corona of elderflower and lemon rind. Really tastes weaker than is percentage, tasty, and surprisingly drinkable! Mid orange brown with scant carbonation.

Keg @ CBC Clerkenwell. Deep copper pour with hardly any head. The nose is strawberry fruit leather. Fruit gushers. Sweet summery peach, fruit compote. The taste is lemon and pine hoppy bitterness. Chewy caramel. Mild spices, cracked pepper. More orchard fruits, peach and pear. Hefty without being cloying or too flabby. Drinks well for the chunky ABV. Modest carbonation. Overall, a nice outsized beer. Good.

On tap at CBC, Clerkenwell. A transparent golden coloured ale. Thin off-white head. Floral aroma with citrus fruits, especially tangerine and lime then honeydew melon and avocado. Full bodied. Bitter flavour with ripe cantaloupe, pine, damp wood and earth, tropical fruits, biscuit and tea. Long, moderately bitter finish. Overall, very balanced and very tasty.

Keg at cbc brixton. Not the cheapest half I'll ever buy! A murky browny yellow colour with a thin white head. Smells lovely - a lot of passion fruit! Medium body, slightly foamy in the mouth. It's fruity, goody and earthy with a nice but not overly boozy finish. Nice bitterness and some citrus and tonic on there too. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cold half pint from keg. How much? This is becoming an expensive hobby. Is a sewage water light brown colour with very little head. Smell is caramelly, mixed fruits…very promising. Taste is floral, grapefruit with indistinct watery tropical fruits in the background. Lots of resin in the bitter finish. Alcohol is unnoticeable - I would believe that it was 4% rather than 10.5%. Decent enough, but I was hoping for better. More tropical fruit and caramel please.

Keg at CBC Islington; clear dark copper pour with small foamy white head, citrus and pine aroma, very fruity taste grapefruit, peach & piney, decent mouthfeel very silky, drinks so easy for 10% + beer. Excellent launch event good to see the brewers dressed up.

Keg at CBC, Islington. It pours hazy golden-amber with a small white head. The nose is pine, tropical fruit, orange, tangerine, sherbet, marmalade and varnish. The taste is orange, tangerine, mango, pine, big on the booze front, resinous, honey, light caramel and varnish. Full body, fine carbonation and slightly cloying mouth-feel. Yeah it is flavoursome, but I think the booziness detracts from the flavour. A big beer indeed.

Tap at CBC Islington. Pours clear amber with a two finger beige head on top which slowly decreases to leave great lacing. Nose is sweet, pungent hops. You can smell its bitterness which is a good sign. A great deal of grapefruit and piney hops. Some sweet tropical notes coming through. Sweet tropical fruits - passion fruit, mango, lychee in the taste with some light pine and a heavy grapefruit finish. Lingering bitterness with not much heat at all. Sweetness is never too much. Surprisingly comes across quite balanced. Damn well made beer. Could have plenty of these (or at least try to)
