330ml bottle Rehills Newcastle. The waft of fresh mango, oily pine resin and light yeast hits you straight away, with the yeast starting to dominate midway through. Great sharp citrus flavours on the tongue, with woody, earthy notes and berries late on. Pours a gorgeous dusky pinky-red colour with plenty of foam in the head, which lasts well. Long finish, this is pretty damn superb.

Pours dark hazy amber wit a beige lacing. Aroma of tropical fruits, fresh citrusy hops, sweeter citrus fruits and ’multujuice’. Very nice. The taste is fresh hop forward with loads of sweeter citrus fruits, lemon peel, orange, peach and a nice bitterness.

33 cl. bottle poured in to a Tulip. Hazy, amber colour with a golden tint. Dense , creamy off-white head. Good looking. Fruity aroma with sweet, exotic fruits, pines, citrus fruits, some floral hops. The cedar shows as a dry, wooden note with a spicy touch. Taste is bitter. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Rather rich for an IPA. Finishes dry and bitter-fruity with exotic fruits, citrus and a slight toasted note. Very delicious IPA.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. I thought this was the weakest of the three but it grew on me towards the end. The nose was spicy with stewed citrus and orange rind. Taste was a little juicier than expected with plenty of zest and citric sweetness behind the spice of the cedar barrel. Very solid stuff

Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a muddy brown with a small white head. Nose is heavy on grapefruit and toffee. Taste is more grapefruit with spicy wood tones. Ok stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
