UPDATED: MAR 27, 2014 Tap at Bristol Beer Emporium. Pours a little murky. Gold body with small creamy head. Nose is dank hops, bursts of tropical fruit - passion fruit, pineapple. Nice balance achieved between sweet juicy fruit and pithy bitterness. Tropical fruits enveloped by pithy bitterness. Continually builds, some resin and pine in the finish. Decent carbonation providing a medium body. Well balanced, bitter beer.

Bottle picked up directly from Siren Brewery, Finchampstead; Berkshire, 20th November 2013 consumed at home Thursday 28th November 2013 Pours dirty muddy puddle colour with very little carbonation, just a few stray bubbles, it wouldn’t win prizes for looks therefore it’s a good job it tastes bloody good. Very pithy across roof of mouth, wonderfully bittersweet, getting a real grapefruit blast but it is tempered with a sweetness. however the finish is dry with a real bitter linger. Very nice. AshtonMcCobb (2361) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 25, 2013
33cl bottle from Beerhive, Edinburgh. Appearance - murky brown with a slim head. Perhaps yeast has been mixed in a bit but disappointing. Nose - thank goodness, some oranges and grapefruit with a background breadiness. Taste - a combination of toffee, oranges and grapefruit pith on the end. Palate - medium bodied with a dry refreshing finish. Overall - it needs more malt structure, good hops though!
